Recap from yesterday:
AMPS 415
+3 390
+6 340 PMPS 337
+3 266

At least he's not in the red this morning. He woke up at 5:30 trying to vomit but nothing came up. Just like yesterday. I gave him just a little chicken powder from the freeze dried Whole Life as he was licking his empty dish. He didn't eat much of it. What can I do about him wanting food at 5:30 which is 1 1/2-2 hours before insulin? This is a real problem. He was starving. I think I will give him some pepcid tonight to see if this vomiting thing stops. It might be too long between eating as I put his last food down at 11-11:30 and it is gone within a few hours. I think he needs the small amounts of food often.

Could this be too much insulin by any chance? He had periods of much better numbers on less insulin.

When I first wrote this early this morning I didn't realize I typed the wrong date!! This us the current one.

Elise, do you have an automatic feeder? I wonder if you could set it for the middle of the night and put in a small snack so he doesn't have to go so long without food. Or maybe try a small frozen cat food meatsicle put out just before bed so he has something a couple hours later.

I don't think this is a result of too much insulin. Back in the early days of our FD dance I would occasionally see some liquid vomits but I'm not sure if it was Neko or the civie. But ever since she hasn't been in such high numbers, it seems to have mostly gone away.

Thanks for the idea. I will try putting out some frozen food. The only problem there is he might decide to eat it too late. He seems to get hungry at 5-5:30 and gets his insulin at 7-7:30. I now seem to be awake enough to hear him though so I would probably be able to pick it up. He has me well trained!!
