I dropped Kazi's dose last night to a smaller drop - back to getting very little insulin. She still went from 138 to 60 last night by +4 when I checked before bed. I had wanted to shoot a number like we had this morning and see where it took us because I am home today...but she is not interested in breakfast this morning. Just licked all the gravy & fortiflora out, took a few bites and sat at the door to be let out. :? She's been giving me a bit more trouble getting her to eat the past few days...I am wondering if it is the antibiotic making her tummy a bit upset. Only another day or so left of the antibiotic so hopefully her appetite rebounds for me.

Will try feeding her again in a few hours.

It sounds like you have a plan. If all else fails, try baby food. It's easy on the tummy and most cats love the stuff.

I may have to pick some up just to keep on hand... she can be pretty fussy about eating sometimes. Any meaty formula without garlic okay?

She ate a bit for me just now...probably at just under 1/2 a 5.5oz can now. Holding off on ABS for an hour or so more.

ETA: She perked up - was scratching her scratcher, following me around the house, looking out the window etc. Gave her antibiotic...she threw it all up 10 minutes later. ::sigh::

Skipping antibiotics - will call the vet tomorrow and see how important the last 2 days of antibiotic are. Don't know if we need to try another kind or just discontinue. Her throwing up right after antibiotic this morning makes me think that is the issue. Her appetite was so so for dinner...took some coaxing but got about 2.5 oz in her. Hopefully she eats a snack for me at her +3 like normal.
