We're Back! I've spent the morning trying to catch up a little on what's been going on with everyone, but I had to call a halt so I could get this posted and get moving on all the stuff I need to do around here (unpacking, laundry, cat boxes, etc.). I'll try to do more visiting tonight.

So everyone survived their stay at Dawn's. She thought she got a fur shot Friday night, but I'm not so sure. I do think she got one last night, as Cinco reeked of Lantus and his numbers are downright ugly. The 337 is probably partially because of how upset he gets in the carrier on the 1 hour ride home. He got his current dose, 1.25 this morning. I'm hoping today's run of yellows are caused by the shed refilling and don't portend a dive tonight.... Cinco, it's Monday!!!!! Mama's been two weeks without her garlic pretzel bites. You don't want to see me have to miss them again, do you? Do you?? It won't be pretty!:confused::blackeye:

I sent a couple of extra shirts for Sasha, but didn't send one for Cinco. I guess Dawn thought he needed a change, so she managed to get this on one him:

It's a hoodie. Fits better than I thought. Kinda cute. :)

Harvey has the distinction of being the most difficult to pill of any cat Dawn's ever dealt with! She had a cat sack, and had to use it, as he was still not eating his pill pockets. I had the same problem this morning, although he ate one pill pocket. The second one, he ate the pocket and left the pill three times, so out came the cat sack! His appy remains stellar.

Minka ate well on Friday night and Saturday, but she threw up twice yesterday afternoon. :( Dawn gave her a second dose of Ond. She didn't want to eat after we got home and I gave her some Cerenia. This morning, after her tummy meds, she ate about 2/3 of a jar of baby food, but didn't want any cat food. I'll keep trying to get her to eat more, but there may be a syringe or two in her future.

Sasha didn't cause any problems, but her appy is at half staff. Not sure what that's about. I don't think her tummy's upset, as she wolfed down four of her treats without hesitation. I guess I need to open another flavor of FF!

We had fun in Reno. Mark and his dad didn't get to ski Saturday because they had white out conditions, but they spent the day together, which is the main thing. We had a yummy dinner at my favorite steak house. Yesterday they got some good runs, although visibility was still not great. Mark was sore by the end, as he hasn't skied (or done much physical activity at all) since last year.

So I'm off to try to make a dent in the chores around here. Hope everyone is having a good Monday.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM. Special vines to Skooter & Molly.

It basically sounds like a successful weekend for kitties and beans, all thing considered. Maybe Shasha's appy is off because she missed her beans! Hopefully everyone will settle back in quickly. Sending tummy settling vines to Minka, and easy pilling vines for Harvey!

Love Cinco's hoodie...what a cutie!! Good luck with the chores, Tricia!

Welcome back! Neko's gone up to party with Cinco - same reason. Paws crossed they both take it easy on us tonight and you get your pretzels. Cute little hoodie for Cinco, maybe he needs a green one. Paws crossed the girls appy improves now that they are home. And Harvey - those pills are good for you!

I'm glad you got a break and Mark got some skiing in. My DH is skiing tomorrow for his first day in over a year, after rowing in the morning. Crazy guys!

Awww...that hoodie is adorable!! Of course so is the model!!

I'm sure now that everyone is home again, they'll all get back on track soon

Cinco! Be a good kitty...no diving tonight! Mamabean needs her garlic pretzel bites!

Welcome home. I'm glad you had a good time. Cinco no diving tonight. Now tomorrow is another story IF you must.

Kinda cute? Cinco is downright adorable in his little hoodie! Glad you guys had a nice time away and I do hope you get your pretzely things tonight. Hope everything settles down with all your babies soon and they all start eating properly and taking all their meds.

Thanks for the visits, Amy, Wendy, Chris, Rhiannon, Elise and Serryn. Cinco was already headed back up at +6.5. I'm just not sure what to expect tonight. Guess we'll know soon enough. I really, really want my pretzel bites, but I want him to have some better numbers, too! Hopefully we can find a compromise.

I decided to go ahead and give Minka some Mirtz, since she hadn't had any in four days. Half an hour later, the plate of FF (the second flavor) that she had rejected was empty. I gave her a couple more spoonfuls and she polished them off! I took some of that second flavor in to Sasha, and after a couple of false starts, she, too, cleaned her plate. No Mirtz needed for Sasha! :)

Cinco looks sooo cute in his hoodie. I hope he gets back on track soon and doesn't dive on you tonight. I'm glad the girls finally ate. It sounds like you had a good weekend. It's nice to have someone like Dawn to take care of the kitties so you don't have to worry.

I wonder if Rusty would like a hoodie after his u/s? (actually, I don't wonder at all!)

Sounds like you had a good weekend and like Dawn had her hands full! Hope you got to go bowling tonight. The getting-reorganized chores can wait until tomorrow.

Scritches for all the kitties, :bighug::bighug: for you,

Ella & Rusty

Cinco looks downright natty in his hoodie. So stinkin' cute.

Everyone will settle down, Tricia. Actually, sounds like everything's going pretty well already.

Enjoy those pretzel thingies...I hope.

Welcome back, Tricia!

Sounds like you had a great trip! Sounds like Dawn had her hands full with everyone, but she kept everything in order while you were gone. Cinco is so stinkin' cute in his hoodie!

Glad to read that meals were successful all around tonight.

Now that vacation's over, it's time to get back to business, Cinco. But in an orderly fashion so mamabean can go out and enjoy some bowling and pretzels tonight.

Thanks for stopping in, Carla, Ella, Marilyn, Ann, and Jen. Yes, I got my pretzel bites :), but I have to remember to stop getting a double order, as I come home feeling miserably full. I do share them with the others on my team, but I end up eating most of them myself. When will I learn???

I was comfortable with Cinco's PMPS enough to leave him, but of course I loaded Otto up, just in case! Otto was completely empty upon our return, and Cinco was hungry! I was happy to see blue, too. I'll be gone tomorrow afternoon, taking Harvey to his IM appointment, but not until about +8, so he should be okay then, even if he decides to visit the lagoon (hint, hint).

I found a great site for anyone that wants to check out cat hoodies: Nipandbones.com. I just received my first order from them. I got Sasha a couple more adorable ones! The t-shirts I also got I will be sending back as they are sleeveless, which isn't mentioned or shown on the site. I need the sleeves because she still has one area at the top of her front leg that apparently irritates her.

Everyone ate their before bowling snacks and the girls ate most of their late dinner. I don't have to tell you how the boys did with theirs! Harvey ate all his pills in the pockets, although the Azodyl, which as the largest is always the most difficult one to make him eat, took many tries. I finally got him to eat it by slathering the juice from some Max Cat Duck over it! I don't care - he ate them and I don't have to pill him!
