Greetings Lantus Land from the Great Frozen Mid-west!!
It's a toasty -5 (-22 wind chill) outside and that's the high so far for today! The storm finally made up it's mind, and we got freezing rain and sleet all night long, so nobody with any sense whatsover is out driving (or walking). Today we get the snow!! They're not sure how much yet because it's not supposed to snow when it's this cold!! The colder it is, the drier the snow, so the more you get. It'll be that fluffy dry stuff that blows and drifts the worst.
China got her pill again this morning without any blood loss on my part (YEAH ME!!) ...but she is getting wise to me so I predict heavy use of band-aids over the next week or so.
The dosecrease seems to (hopefully) be helping. At least we got a green +6, even if it's a high green. China likes to surprise me though, so it's entirely possible her PMPS could be lower...or higher....LOL Got a nice 92 for +9.5 too :mrgreen:
We'll just have to see how it goes.
So far the electricity has gone out 3 times, but the longest it's stayed out was 78 minutes (I counted every one..not much else to do when you're freezing to death) but that's better than usual around here. We live the furthest from the main company and in a lower income area, so the people with the big bucks get service before we do every time. Hoping that it stays on throughout tonight so we can get some sleep. Last night was kind of long...and testing in the dark is no fun either.
