All is well in Checkers' world. Ate breffis, drank his water, made bean wait to shoot. Normal stuff.

The bean took a tip from Sienne, and is teaching him to get up on kitchen counter for testing, shooting. This, after trying for almost 15 years, to get him to stop getting on counter. :YMSIGH:
Much easier than bending over the testing table.

Being a creature of habit, he still gets up on living room table first, but I hold a treat over counter, and up he comes..they learn fast.... when it benefits them

Good morning! I'm interested in how the training goes for you. I used to shoot Chaos on the floor until last summer. At some point I decided it would be easier on the kitchen table. All I did was pick him up and put him on the table for his shot a few times and he started doing it on his own. I hope it goes as easily for you! :razz: He still won't get on the couch for testing on his own, but maybe someday...

oh yes, if there are treats to be had, they will learn very quickly. Amazing that ;-)

Good morning guys ... I see checkers decided to start the day out in a low yellow .. must be the new pen kicking in? Checkers is probably thinking, what the heck, for years I was told to NOT get up on the counters .. now she is begging me to, and then rewarding me?? I see my training on her has finally kicked in! :lol:

Morning guys! Too fun on the kitchen counter... I bet Checkers thinks that finally his bean has been trained. :lol: And now he gets treats too.

Agreed....too funny about teaching him to get on the counter after not all these years!!! Gracie would have to have a ladder to get on the counter...she's too small to jump that high!! Great numbers for Checks today!!
