Good morning Everyone!

Day 12! nailbite_smile and a nice AMBG.

Basil is quite the sport today. He went out again and wandered around. We were watching him from the window as he did his wild kingdom thing, stretching and surveying. Then he came back into the (raised) screen porch to survey from a higher vantage point. And on a rug. Purring and waiting for his test this morning. His appetite is still not 100% but he ate a normal amount between PM+3 and PM+9 last night and he ended up eating his full breakfast with a half hour break between "seatings."

He still is not sure of Zina, the new dog. He is fine around Emmett, who is the same breed and actually quite a bit larger than Zina. Zina is smaller than Basil. But he hides from her and she barks when she sees him and he does NOT like it. We hope to work on that some today and tonight. Small steps. Sigh.

Three more BG tests left in our trial. nailbite_smile

Here's wishing great numbers to everyone today.

And MONIQUE--I couldn't find you yesterday. Was everything okay after that storm?!

I think it takes our furbabies time to get used to each other..You babies are really beautiful--What lucky ones to have you as a momma bean!!
Cant Wait for your party! Moonie is trying on outfits right now :lol: :lol: :lol:

Magnolia can't wait for the party! She'll be all looped up on painkillers, but every party has to have someone wearing the lampshade, right?

I love the WCR today.. sounds so natural & sweet :-D

Also.. good that the new furbaby did not cause any elevated BG (I was nervous about that for you) ;-)

I did not see you mention when you were going on your shopping trip for
Basil's suit. After all, it wil be his own party.
AND we expect to see lots of pictures of him, waiting for his guests.
Max is so excited. He does not know where Connecticut is so this is a big
adventure for him.

No nailbiting OK? Both of you are doing great.
(love the name of your Zina. How cute is that)

Almost there, does that mean the party is on Friday? Oh geez I hope my computer is fixed by then......Oh wait...my kid is away for the weekend so I have full access to HER computer :lol: I have full faith you will make it to the Falls, keep on chewing GUM!

Has Basil started furnishing his new condo at the Falls? Hope he has a big party room.

Happy Day 12 Basil and Lydia! Only a couple more days and you will be vacationing at the falls with Sami and I. See you soon.

Basil has a nice PMBG.

He's being fussy about eating. I'm glad we're seeing the vet next week because I still have the nagging feeling his teeth aren't 100% but we'll see on Tuesday. He certainly shows NO lack of enthusiasm for dehydrated chicken. Or canned chicken. His FF seems to be becoming old hat. Tomorrow, I am going to try Merrick and see if he is no longer tired of that now!

He is, of course, preparing a suit for the occasion of his SHHHHHHHHH! :lol:
 
Such a beautiful day 12 for Basil....really, really GREAT!!!
Raja & shadow are ready to help decorate for his party~~they are beside themselves with happy anticipation!
This is going to be one heck of a great OTJ party!!! So happy for you two!!!
 
(((Lydia))) One more day! Basil is looking better these days. No more of those blues okay Basil ;-) Webber has been looking over my shoulder every day asking about Basil's party. :cool:
