Yesterday

Our power is spotty today. Bad icy snowy storm happening until tonight. DH cooked breakfast on our pot belly stove this morning. My phone is about to die so charging when I can.

Olive could have went lower during the night but no lights to test her. I went ahead and fast tracked this morning.

PLEASE NO ONE ELSE COPY THIS METHOD. THERE ARE TO MANY UNKOWNS WITH OLIVE. VERY EXPERIENCED MEMBERS ARE MONITORING TO KEEP US SAFE.

We got power for an hour then lost it for 3 hrs. Just came back on. Hopefully it will stay on. It is horrible out there. Can not see the trees across the street. Got my taxes done, ready to mail and most of my father's together. Next blackout I will clean out a file drawer.

Power going on and off. Drivers stuck on the interstate since 10 am. I love this part all Verizon wireless service is out. If you have an emergency go to nearest fire station. Guess what roads are not plowed, because they are trying to get the drivers off the interstate. Why people were driving I don't know, they knew this was coming. Maybe not this bad but still I knew yesterday not to go anywhere. Over 100,000 people without power. Unless you have a dog sled you can't get to the fire house.

The big storm is a superstorm, indeed. Stay safe! We are only getting the fringes, since it is a coastal Nor'easter.
Good luck with the increase. I hope Olive will be in good numbers soon.

Why people were driving I don't know, they knew this was coming.

Some people just don't have the common sense that God gave a carrot....they always think it won't happen to them!!
