After posting a nice green number last night, Simon is back up a little this morning. He is doing great, most P's in place so far and he is such a good boy with his pill taking. I am really worried about Cleo although she is still eating a little. Last night, when I tried to pet her stomach, she hissed and scratched me. I still don't see much lb action from her since 2 days ago so I'm just nervous that there is still something wrong. She definitely is not having the UTI problem as much and is playing and looks alert. I might take her back to do an x-ray or ultrasound to see if there is anything else possibly wrong if things don't turn around.

Hoping everyone has a good weekend and thinking of all those kitties that are not feeling well. Sending many, many thoughts and prayers to them.

still a nice bloo numbah for simon.

if you can i would most definitely recommend an xray or ultrasound. you just never know what you can't see. hoping it just gas or something. :)

I'm sorry she's still not 100% georgia. I think an xray would be a good idea also. Is she vomiting? Constipation often results in vomiting - especially after visiting the litter box to try and poop. Maverick didn't have any of the classic signs though but there was no mistaking the xray.

Glad Simon's BG came down from last night. He is such a sensitive cat isn't he.

Morning guys! I am glad that Simon is doing so much better - finding those greens again. I expect he will do the same today. I hope all is well with Cleo - perhaps a vet visit would be in order if things continue to be the same. Good luck!

I hope Cleo begins feeling better, have you tried a 1/4 teaspoon MiraLax mixed with food & water? Others have had good results with that.
I hope all is well soon & that your day is great.

Nicole, yes, I have been putting Miralax on Cleo's food but haven't noticed a difference. Of course, I put some on Simon's food and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I'm trying pumpkin in her food now to see if it settles her stomach. She is not sure she likes it but I'm going to give her a 1/2 hour to try and finish the food because she is a slow eater. Of course, Simon, once again, loved the pumpkin and scarfed it down with his food.

Karrie, Cleo hasn't been vomiting but since you said Maverick didn't have the classic symptoms, I am a little concerned that there could still be something wrong. I don't really feel anything in her abdominal area.

And Celia, Michelle, and Pat, thanks for the support and I guess the next step is x-rays.

One good thing: I hid Cleo's pills in some chicken I made last night, and she ate her pepcid and antibiotic without a problem. Yeah!! Hopefully, it will work the next time too. She is a smart kitty and figures things out pretty fast.

Nice numbers for Simon today... hope you see some green tonight! Fingers and paws crossed that you can get to the bottom of what is having Miss Cleo feel less than terrific.
