Good Morning, Everyone,

We all had a good night (only 1 coughing spell for me and Rusty had one too, to keep me company, I guess!). We went out to see if we could see the Northern Lights again, but last night the sky was dark, except for the stars. Check Rusty's yesterday condo to see a link to a picture of the Northern Lights the other night taken from the Vermont shore of Lake Champlain. The lights there were more vivid than what we saw, but we did see pale pink, white, and pale green pulsing and lighting up the sky. Watching through the tall pines was breathtaking.

Rusty is enjoying his second sitting of breakfast and his perch above the radiator.
It's a cold (-3 degrees this morning), sunny day and when it warms up a bit more (after lunch) we're going to walk downtown to the post office. I'm feeling much better. I hope I'll be able to go on the snowshoe tomorrow to celebrate the vernal equinox. I'm planning on it and will make the bison chili tonight so that it will be ready to take to the party tomorrow night.

Sending vines to all in need,

Ella & Rusty

Sorry about the coughing. :( I hope it gets better soon for you and Rusty. Those chest colds are so hard to completely kick. Brrrr. The cold certainly doesn't help. Have a wonderful day Ella!

The northern lights were amazing here in Northern MN as well. I haven't seen them since I left Canada years ago so it was worth the trip outside.
Oh this flu going around is so bad. I hope your cough goes away soon. I do love that Rusty is in solidarity!
I also have to walk to the post office each day but with little snow this winter it has been very easy.
Great start Rusty! :)

Nice start to the day, except for the coughing! I'm sure he did it just to keep you company.

That picture of the northern light was gorgeous. I was out that night (thought I heard a rocket launch, but couldn't see anything) clear sky, but no lights. I saw them a few times when we lived in MN.

I hope your cold is gone soon, like in time for the snowshoe!

I hate it when the cough just hangs on and on after the cold finally goes away. I hope yours gets the heck out of Dodge soon. How sweet of Rusty to want to share your pain!

I hope all works out so that you can go snowshoeing. I really enjoyed it the couple of times I went. Of course, I'm a rank amateur compared to you!

Thanks for the Northern Light Show picture, Ella. Amazing.

Vines to help you kick the cough and get out for some snowshoeing tomorrow.

Rusty, nice job today. Keep up the good work.

Hi again,
Rusty had a low-key day with marginal appetite. He perked up a bit this evening, however. He's been on duty in the lagoon for most of the day! :D:D:D
It doesn't look like I'll be snowshoeing tomorrow. I'm still not well enough. But we'll see. I never did get to the chili. Too much computer stuff to deal with.

Thanks for visiting, see you all tomorrow,

Ella & Rusty

Great day numbers-wise for Rusty. Bummer that you can't shake that bug enough to go snowshoeing tomorrow.:( Sending many bug-be-gone vines your way and also a few vines for Rusty's chest to clear too.

The pictures I saw of the northern lights were amazing. The CBC website showed some taken from Whistler than looked fantastic against the trees. It's a little over an hour north from here and the only place I've seen them. Too much light/cloud cover here last night.

I've never seen the northern lights. Ever. I think I'll put that on my bucket list. More vines for your cold, Ella. Nicely done, Rusty. :D

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Sorry I missed you yesterday... another long day here with the boys. I hope you are feeling better. maybe well enough for that snowshoe today?

How great to see Rusty in the lagoon yesterday. Love those BG's Rusty! Keep them coming.

It is still way too cold there.... BRRRR! It is so cool that you got to see some of the northern lights. That had to be breathtaking. I don't suppose you saw any of the eclipse?

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well.
