Hmm Nova seems to be in a good mood.. someone had a huge regurgitation during the night (on the kitchen floor, what a treat! seriously, usually it's down a vent, on the rug, between the fridge and the wall, etc.. I was so happy when I saw it there haha)... Nova is usually the regurgitator, so she's the most likely culprit.. but she's doing fine..

She was pissy about her shot again.. gave 2 greenies and she inhaled them before I got anywhere and started to run off, I pinned her down and did the shot upside down.. I'm right handed, so usually I stab from right to left from behind her, and this morning I stabbed left to right facing her.. she didn't get upset about it.. but maybe it's just because she had no idea what I was doing..

Little surprised about her AMPS.. is probably because she wasn't successful eating during the night.. still sort of regret not testing more last night.. figured I'd just spot check for a couple days until this dose starts (possibly) seeing some action.. give her ears a break, and spend the time normally poking, hanging out with her instead (and sleeping hehe)..

Edit: Say goodbye to those greens.. While I was getting sick in the washroom (yeah, not having the best start to MY weekend :) ).. I heard crunching.. I came out to see Nova sitting there smiling at me licking her lips.. I said "Nova you didn't!".. she meowed and went tearing off into the basement.. yep, guilty.. she got at one of the boys kibbles.. that I didn't put away fast enough... mommy fail.

She doesn't even like those kibbies, she's just doing it because she knows she shouldn't! BLAAAARG. Worked so hard to find kibbies she didn't like and am usually really on the ball about keeping her away from them.. have a CH cat that tremors really bad when he eats, and wet food gets up his nose (and gets infections from often which are a pain in the butt because he's got an auto immune disorder).

Sigh.. I am having one of those can't handle all this anymore sort of days.. my other boy has HCM/asthma and today I booked his next xray/ultrasound.. as you can imagine, I don't get the greatest news from those tests..

wonder how long those dry kibbies will take to kick in?.. pretty sure she got a decent amount of them.. they're big (almost as big as dog kibbles) and I would guess she got at least 4 or 5.. easily the same volume as like 15 normal kitty kibbies.. sigh

erm.. I don't think the dry kibbies ever fully kicked in.. 4.5 hours later I expected her to be through the roof.. that or Nova didn't get the memo on how high carb dry food works.. I'm thinking/hoping she might have fun times in store for me this weekend.
