Full Maple Sugar Moon Party tonight for all LL kitties! We are at Rusty's Barn - calling all kitties - be there! ~~ Chef Mannie ~~ uhhhhhh it's also called the Full Worm Moon, but I like the sugar one best. :-D

Mannie had a great AM cycle yesterday - made green! :mrgreen: We started out the P< cycle in great shape, wonderfully low blue ps number, but.... seems Mannie decided he wanted to head on up to the higher floors, winding up with a 420 this morning. We shall blame the influence of the full moon. :-D

Any of you guys see the moon? We had clear skies this morning, and could watch it make its way across the horizon. Quite impressive!

Mannie is good this morning. :-D He never seems to be affected by high BG numbers. He slept in bed with me last night, at least for a while. :cool: :-D I found him this morning when I awoke on the nanner pile, waiting for the breffis bell to chime. That was greeted with this "Happy feed me quick " dance. :lol: so I did. He's made a couple of trips through the house to find me this morning, making sure all was as it should be, and then back to the nanners, for hugs and likes and a few chews, napping now in progress. :cool:

KITTIES! Today is the day! Off to Rusty's barn - we party to celebrate the full moon! We will also be making a trip to Camp Stu, to visit the veil, so that we may wish our departed friends, Tori and Boris, a safe journey to the falls, and to wish them well, let them know we miss them and that things are OK. I have been so busy getting the menu together - we had fun planning it, yes? and hey - bring anything else that you want to share. We need Fuds! Lots of fuds! ok.... here we go:
The Maple Sugar, or Worm, Full Moon Party Menu:

Appetizers: Grilled Wigglers, Grilled Fish Wraps with Maple Sauce, Grilled Shrimp Marinated in Maple Sauce

What a nice cycle yesterday, though! You can blame this one on the moon. :-D

That's one impressive menu. Perhaps I should send Chaos on to help sooner rather than later- they have a lot of maple syrup to pour! And the wigglers! :lol: :lol: Love it! It really sounds like an excellent night to be a cat.

Morning Michelle, Mannie is coming down and what's important is he's feeling good, too. What a great cycle of numbers yesterday. So glad you like the new meter, but is the same one you used in the past. Maggie is looking forward to the Full Maple Sugar Moon Party.

Maggie says it looks like the menu is covered but will bring some chipnips with her own special sauce. See you tonight and also looking forward to visiting the veil at Camp Stu.

Wow, Mannie, that menu sounds spectacular! Rusty is already working on decorating the barn and shoveling the path to the door. And, as you know, the catmint has been visited--awesome! So come down gradually, no dives today, and we'll see you later.

Tessie says she has never had the delicacy of Grilled Wigglers, but would like to try them sometime! :lol:

I wanted to let y'all know I'm fixin to come to da party tonight specially for da moon pies. You know mama bean ands I are southern and we live on moon pies down around here. Hey Mannie it sounds like you are planning to wear your Coat of Many Colours to the party tonight. SOunds like it's going tot be great. The menu is fantastic. Rocky and Malachi have gotten their clothes all picked out for tonight. They are so pleased to be going to the party and Tori's tribute tonight. They'll be looking out for the bus.

Mannie asked me to tell you he will make sure that malachi and rocky are cared for, and that they get a special place at camp stu - he knows (and wants) that the tribute will be also for them. -- and yes on the coat of many colors... when will this boy ever learn?: never a dull moment... might be rather dull then. :lol:

Hey Michelle: sorry I haven't gotten to your condo until now. Long night for me, vetty, nappus. So glad to see Mannie is coming back down to blue for the party. I saw the moon some time...altho I don't remember if it was last night or this morning :lol: :lol: :lol: Quite the menu for the party; I hope the bus has plenty of rope on it!!

Mannie I'm all rested up even tho we been doing pcpcpcpc; Tobey has his fur all shiny and soft for the lady kitties and I have my dancing boots...we are so excited about playing in hay!! I have my special Kitchen Krewe apron...WE ARE READY TO PARTAY!!!!

Mannie has had the BEST afternoon. It is sunny here, warm at 50, so I decided to try and tackle the mess that we call "the yard". Mannie was my assistant. He was able to stay outside for close to three hours. He was just so happy - rolling in everything, sitting in most, surveying his domain, just being a cat. I took the camera with me this time - thought great time for some video. every time I went to shoot something he'd turn and give me his backside. :roll: :roll: well.... maybe next time.

Hi Marjorie - no worries really. It has in a way been one of those days here too. try as hard as i could there just has not been enough time in the day.... hmmmmm - i hope Mannie checked the rope supply.... :lol: :lol:

Hi Karrie - menus are fun - i had used that lettuce thing sometime ago for someone's party - it cracked me up this morning so decided to include it. and oh yes on the weekend. though i no longer work they still are an item I look forward too - things are different on the weekend - better!
