My frequent testing yesterday told me she fluctuates for no reason, haha. I tested her in the middle of the night to see what that might tell me. Hmm, not much except its dropping but not too fast I guess.
I had to assist feed her this morning again. She just picked at her food. Well at least now I dont have to worry about her eating for several hours.

Hi Jo, interesting data gathering. I’m sorry to hear you had to assist feed this morning. Always sending better eating wishes your way.
You are a tireless and amazing mom to sweet Karamelle.
Kudos to the wonderful job you do with her care :bighug::cat::bighug:

Nice start today :D I feel that, it’s always tough to know what tests will be the most valuable for safety and dosing decisions.
Even after more than a year, I still dont get how this all works very well. Better than when i started, and definitely not as stupid, but it just doesnt follow that pattern I hear about so often. Of course its much better now on Levemir, than Lantus. I guess Lantus just wasnt the insulin for her.

I know I should get more tests in the middle of the night, but I just cant do it. It disrupts my already terrible sleep I get every night. I can do it once in a while and definitely when I see her heading downward close to hypo. But I think I'll just have to stick with data from during the day, or rather MY waking hours. Thank you for the complement. I sometimes feel like I should do more.
