viewtopic.php?f=9&t=91257 - this is yesterdays post
As some of you may of read from yesterday - I was going to dentist today (1 hour 45 min drive there) and was getting some teeth pulled with anesthesia so my boyfriend Dane had to go with me. I was worried about Jupiter being here alone after insulin. (So worried I ended up not getting any sleep at all last night =(.. )
I ended up giving him a very small dose (about .2) this morning (around 7am) instead of his regular amount which is 1u
His numbers seem okay right now - I have updated the spreadsheet and my boyfriend just checked his BG when we got home around 2pm.
If this decrease in insulin this morning would cause his numbers to be high around when would the higher numbers start showing up?
If there is an increase in his BG numbers is there anything I should do (or anything I can do?)
I should give his next dose at 7pm still, correct?
Thanks
And to everyone that replied yesterday, Thanks for all the goodluck wishes -(I was very nervous about the anesthesia) but it all went well.
I also want to thank everyone for their advice with Jupiter - I really appreciate it so much!!
