Hey Sienne,
I'm just getting caught up on Gabby's condo and see that you are about to move to OSU. Edward and I want to wish you a good move and much success in your new department. How I do not envy you getting your stuff ready to move! Edward was at NYU for over 30 years, so although we didn't have to move because of a change of jobs, we moved 5 times. In each of the last 3 moves we took the opportunity to "downsize". We have gradually undone each downsizing. We are about to do a "spring cleaning" of books to give to the local library. Anyway, I'm sure Gabby and Gizmo will be a big help with the big move!

Gabby, you can come down from your post-vetty bounce now.

Well, drat that stinky pinky...but just barely. ;-)

The part I dread most about any move is finding just the right vet! :lol:

It turns out that 3 of the vets at the cats-only practice I use here trained at OSU. Between Terri/Lily and my vet, I have the recommendation for what sounds like a good, cat-only practice. It's about 8 miles from where I'll be living. By Columbus standards, that's far. By Chicago standards, it's about the same distance to my vet here (and will probably take less time than it does for me to get my current vet).

Oh Sienne, that is great news! And a cat only practice is super! In all the places we've lived, we only had one vet with a cat only practice, and it was so nice.

I remember now when we lived in Illinois that many of the midwestern based vets trained at OSU. Out west, it seems all the vets we encounter trained at Colorado State University (CSU).

Looks like Gabby is reacting to yesterdays Vet visit. Hope her numbers continue to slide.

I to am glad you have been able to find a great Vet practice ahead of time. I think you can train any Vet in FD anyway! :-D

Not bad Gabby, nice recovery. I'm glad you could get the dental scheduled quickly, before you move.
