Good Morning!
Hi Libby and Sienne. ~O) I think I could probably fit in a +3 after her last shot. I've noticed with her a +2 isn't much different, and why put her poor ear thru the prick. Her one shot ear is getting a small bump on it from where I prick. I do put neosprine on it after I prick to help heal. The other ear doesn't cooperate as much, but I think I'm going to try and switch shot ears!

Morning Ann, busy morning here again! Boy Scrabble is putting me through the ringer!! Nice amps for you! The bruising I was talking about was his injection site for the insulin. It bruised after I gave him his shot, I felt so bad. I must have been giving him his shot in the same area, I have to start paying more attention!!! His ears bruise a little but they seem to clear quickly, I do use neosporin too. Hope your day goes well!

Nice AMPS for Maggie....maybe prick the ear a little above and below the one bump...there is an area along the edge of the ear that is good to use instead of exactly in the same spot each time. It is difficult to prick the "other' ear....I found that if I approach Shadow from the front, the left ear (for us) is easier to test. I have been using the right ear mostly and the left one takes a little bit of doing to get it correctly...

Thanks Pat. I will give that a try. It's amazing how Maggie does cooperate for the prick. She doesn't like it, but she knows she will get that small treat of chicken Gerber baby food; it's Stage 2 and lc and high protein, and she gets a small amount on tip of spoon. I can't find those freeze dried chicken treats here in CA, but I do have some other type.

Hey Ann they sell the freeze dried chicken treats at petco, they are called Halo liv-a-littles freeze dried chicken treats. If you order them from amazon they are a lot cheaper. My cats go CRAZY for them! If you want to check them out they are in the dog treat aisle. I buy them in bulk on-line(amazon.com) since it is way cheaper!!! Just thought I would let you know. Did you find the old cans of FF?

Hey, thanks for letting me know that the Halo chicken treats can be bought at Petco. I need to make a stop there today, in fact, as I'm watching my neighbor's cat while she is in the hospital. I've told her she needs to find someone else but...you know how those things go!

Yes, thanks for reminding me. I did find 10 cans left on the shelf at Albertson's of the old label Tender Beef Feast FF. They had them behind the new label FF's. There is definitely a difference between the two brands.
