Skooter was a bit high this morning, but I am wondering if he went back down again after I went to bed. Of course since he was already climbing and normally nadirs early, I decided to get a GOOD night sleep and use my CPAP machine. I am thinking maybe this weekend, as much as it would suck, trying to do a PM curve, just to see what he is doing so I can get a better sense of when it is "safe" to go to bed lol

He is coming down nicely and is otherwise doing just fine. I scheduled his follow-up/annual exam for Friday and will be able to hopefully schedule his dental at that time :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting: I am such a worrywart, I know. I am thinking of scheduling the dental earlier in the week and then taking the following day off to care for him, that way, GOD FORBID, something DOES happen to him, I can hopefully take him to his regular vet vs the ER.

Random question: How long should the battery in the meter last? A few times when I haved turned his primary one on, it shows me what looks like a battery life thing and its down to like 1/4. I can add batteries to my list of things to get at the store today, but I was just more curious than anything.

Today is the last day of my "vacation", although I have not really considered this a vacation. Friday afternoon and Monday, I took off as I had things that needed to get done, so really only feels like two days, but oh well.....either way, not looking forward to going back to TBP. I have SO MUCH I am gonna have to do tomorrow, it is not even funny. Training 2.5 hours in the morning, then another 2 hours in the afternoon on a different topic, plus play catch up....I have like an hour to myself tomorrow and that is lunch and I can't even come home during that because it is in between two trainings :(:(

Hopefully this weekend will be productive for me trying to start getting back on a regular schedule and trying to take care of me some, in addition to Skooter....just so hard as everything has seemed so chaotic lately, but hoping there is nothing going on this weekend, so I can just try and get myself back in step.

Wishing everyone a happy HUMP day!

Off for a training session AND registered dietician session....then grocery shopping, so I probably wont be back until t/f/s time again.....

Skooter, surf nicely for momma, mmmkay?

Nice to see Skooter back to his regular numbers. :D But we do want to see some nice surfing action today, Mr. Skoots. Hugs to you, Molly, be sure to breathe. :bighug:

ETA: Batteries should last at least a year, I would say. Best to keep a couple of spares.

It is never fun when vacation comes to an end, and to have to go back to 2.5 hours of training that sounds even less fun. Hope you enjoy the rest of your last vacation day.

The battery on our meter lasts for more than a year. It think we've only replaced it once since we got it in 2011. It's really amazing, considering what a testaholic I am!

I'm glad to see Scooter is representing in the lagoon, keeping Max company. China gave it a pass and Cinco did a drive by. Surf pretty, now, Skooterbear!

Nice slide for Skooter. I agree the battery should last at least a year, if not longer. I hope you can get back on track with things.

I thought so as well....I didn't get it until I think June of last year, but every so often the battery thing shows up. I did get a set of two batteries, JUST IN CASE.....

I am a bit exhausted, so time for a lil nap and will be setting oh say 7 alarms to go off every two minutes to get me up for a +5
