Good morning everyone,

I am a bit concerned that Sammy decided to drop a low last night between +3 and +7. I was not expecting him to still be in the low 60's at +7, so I guess it is possible that he dropped lower after +3 and then was already back on the rise a bit by +7. I wish I had gotten up to get a +5, but I will never know what his number was.

Last night Sammy was gobbling down the food like there was no tomorrow. I did end up giving him more food than I had originally planned because he was just eating it so quickly.

I went ahead and shot the .75 dose this morning, and we will see what happens. His AMPS is a bit higher today than the last couple of days so I hope that is not a bad sign, and +1 is a bit higher than that, technically it could just be meter variance, but there is a slim possibility that Sammy got a bit more 8% food than I had wanted. I was feeding Crystal the 8% food this morning and I don't remember picking up the bowl. Normally DH won't touch the bowls, but I don't remember picking it up before going back to bed this morning. I guess that is the one bad thing about having shot time so early in the morning. At least I devote all of my focus on making sure the shot is accurate. That is the most important thing right.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day.

So far today Sammy has had a very nice day, but we did received some disappointing news this morning. My boss says that he has developed an allergy to Sammy and I won't be able to bring him to the office with me any longer. Sammy will be so happy to be able to stay home, Mamabean not so much. I will be so stressed out wondering how his is doing at home alone.

The good news is that because I have been able to bring him to work with me for the past month or so, I have gotten lots of day time tests and can pretty much predict if he is going to go low based on his numbers between AMPS and +3. My work schedule will allow me to get test up to +3 before I leave for work and if necessary I can go in late if there is fear that he will go to low. Plus, work is only 3.5 miles from home so it wouldn't be too much trouble to run home for a mid-day test or two if necessary. We will just have to make good use of the auto feeder for daytime snacks.

FANTASTIC surf today Sammy!!

Too bad about the boss, but as long as you can get up to +3 and run home if you need to, I'm sure he'll do great! That month of taking him to work with you is really going to make it much easier than if you hadn't been able to do that

Keep surfing those pretty green numbers Sammy! :D

That's a beautiful AMPS well within the normal range. There is such a wide range because BG does fluctuate. You have nothing to be concerned about :D

It's great you are so close to work, I always used to dash home for mid cycle tests too.
