She's doing OK, yeah - I like the 80 the best!! Though we just realized we're not sure about the last reading - Michael tried to test her before he went to a meeting at work but she ran, hid and finally lashed out at him and scratched him. So when I got home, the strip was halfway in the meter and I just used it without thinking - it had been sitting out for about 3.5 hours. I'll see what her PMPS comes in at but I might remove that number from her ss if it looks too far off from the number I get in another 10 minutes. Now we're trying to figure out how I can make it home from work on my lunch break to test her as there's no way he can keep doing this when she's getting so bad about being tested.

Hmm - I think that 10.5 was screwed up. I should have tossed the test strip and started with a new one - I knew it had been left out. But I just didn't think - I saw the meter set up, knew she was overdue for a test and just went for it. :P

It might have been I guess - the reading just looks a little off compared to the PMPS. Not so far off it's impossible if the 151 was at the full 20% higher on the meter variance - just somehow doesn't look quite right to me. I've left it in the comments on her ss as a possible reading, but I'm not certain enough it was OK to leave it in the main numbers. This box of test strips has been a little off anyway - I've had to retest 3 times because of odd readings when I'd never had to do that before. But of course at $40 for the box, I didn't want to throw the whole thing out either! I should have retested immediately of course, but I'd only just walked in from work, knowing she was very late for a test because she'd been so bad about having one earlier. It didn't even occur to me that there might have been a problem until about half an hour later.

I think the day's coming when my sweet girl isn't going to tolerate anyone testing her anymore - even me. She's growling and hissing right in my face - she'd love to bite me, but while she'll get hold of my hand with her teeth she doesn't dare actually apply any pressure. She was so good early on - I hate upsetting her like this, but I don't have any choice. :(
