Yesterday Neko got her increase back to 2.0 units and finally got her greenies on late at night, just in time for St. Catrick's Day. Today Neko joins Mannie and Rex in PNW cat bounce day. :roll:

As usual in the pinks, today Neko is very interested whenever we open the fridge door and she comes running. She is so cute when I am prepping their food on the counter. She is on her hind legs, front legs on the cupboard doors, trying to reach out and "help" me along. I am SO SLOW getting fuds ready. Occasionally she has to take the extreme step of racing to the end of the kitchen where she can hop up on the counter and walk along to the fuds prep area. That's when I have to turn on the tap and keep her at bay until I'm done. :lol: When I'm done, we can finally dance back to where the bowl is put down. That's probably the most energy Neko shows all day!

Speaking of energy, she has none now. The sun is shining, the solarium is warm, and cats are flopped out. There are some big gusts of wind outside. Neko's only did a quick deck walk earlier before deciding she didn't like the wind. I'd like to do a hike, but not sure that would be safe in the woods.

I love how Neko helps you out with the food. That's so cute. I hope she clears the bounce soon.

That's funny how she's trying to help you get her eats out a little faster.
Since you feed raw, do you warm it? Is it already mostly thawed? Does she just eat it cold?

I've been trying to figure that out IF I can get mine to cooperate and eat it on a regular basis. She sure liked her raw turkey ( i had to cut it up teenie tiny)

I like this: "PNW cat bounce day". true, so true, with Mannie paving the way to horrid numbers. I hope Neko clears hers soon. The jury is still out on Mannie... :roll: Very nice cycle yesterday for Neko - such pretty greens last night.

LOVE the food prep - that is fun. Guess she just wants to make sure you are doing everything correctly. :lol:

We had sun here today too, without the winds. I hope you made it out for your hike. Maybe the winds let up? I did get out for a little bit, after the chores I so needed to do were done. A nice day here to be in the woods.

Good evening, guys,

I hope that Neko is down again by now and that she will get enough to eat this evening :lol: Rusty hates windy weather, too. I think it ruffles their long fur too much. Did you get out for your woods walk? Hopefully it was safe enough in the wind and you were able to do it. Watch and listen for those blowing branches, though!

Well, that was a surprise! Pink going up at +5, someone made a great turnaround in the last part of the cycle. Normally I test at +9 before the snack, but I got back home just in time for a late snack. As it is, this number might have a slight food influence. Most of the fuds was no carb but there was a tsp of 1%. Or the snack could have gotten Neko's pancreas to work. I'll never know, I didn't test before the snack. I love the randomness of FD. :lol:

@Carla - Bounce cleared pronto, thanks for those wishes.

@Rhiannon - Pink is ALL gone! The raw food is completely thawed before I serve it, but I add warm water to it. Neko would eat it cold, Theo likes it a little warm but it's an excuse to add some more water.

@Michelle - Looks like it's PNW bounce clearing evening too, although I haven't looked at Rex's numbers yet. Neko's slower slide to 60's were better than Mannie's dive bomb to the 50's. nailbite_smile DH asked if I wanted to watch a movie last night, but I had all the entertainment I needed watching LL. :lol: Neko doesn't want me to miss a thing, just wants it faster. :lol: She even licks the spoon. We had sun, the winds died down mid afternoon. I got out, but I was giving the moss a haircut. :roll:

@Ella - I've never seen Neko refuse food, so not sure it she ever is really full. :lol: I agree on the long hair and wind, I have long hair and don't like it blown around either. It was a little later by the time the wind died down, maybe tomorrow for the hike, rain doesn't start until later in the day.
