For today I proudly offer Mannie's special 10 hr energy coffee, and triple shot Breve's made from Sun-Dried Sumatra Rasuna beans. and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum and Frango Mint infused white mocha/mocha blend with Frango chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles, white chocolate curls and frango mocha drizzle. ..... PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers....OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today: Cimmamum Spice Chai!! Psssstttt.... I gots scones and croissants too!

Yesterday was..... SLIDE DAY in MannieLand. The day before was just awful: alpha, black, red... by the PM cycle he started to head down, and continued that trend through the AM cycle, and into the PM cycle. It was so cool to have a blue amps. And we had GREEN by +3. WOOT! What a great recovery day for Mannie. It was so nice to see an ugly bounce that lasted only one day. YAY! WOOT! YaHOO!!! It is a bummer that he bounced as badly as he did this morning: back to alpha.... Come on down, slowly Mannie. I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better, be blue vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D I was gone most of yesterday, so I'm bot too sure what Mannie did most of the day. DH reports that he came for the hoomin breffis, spent some time on the deck, getting his sniffs. He even let Elsa play with the nanners. That is kinda nice. You can see she still is tentative about playing with them, especially with him sitting nearby. it's almost as if he says it's OK - you can play. So she does. :cool: This seems to be a new trend with him, sharing the nanners in the afternoon. Of course he immediately reclaims them after Elsa leaves. :lol: :lol: His mobility seemed ok, but we did have one instance where his rear legs failed him - always on the tile floor. Poor guy. He recovered, but it's still hard to watch when it happens. All in all it was a good day for Mannie yesterday. Today appy has been good (picky !!!, but good), CPC (barely) yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: I am happy to say one more time: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Hey everybody! What's up? I think we need to do a cookie and pastry and a bakery road trip today... visit all those bakeries that like us so much. Maybe we can help bake some too! OT: Here's the Picassa link to the photos from my adventure yesterday. I had gone to a swim meet and near the aquatic center was a short rail system, and lake. I walked/hiked that before I headed on home. It was nice to find such a pleasant trail right next to the pool. There are also some really awful photos of Seattle that I took from the freeway while stuck in traffic... anyways - here's the link: BPA Trail, Panther Lake

It's so nice of your guy to share his nanners. I hope Elsa doesn't mind playing with them while being supervised. Just like a big brother!

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) and Mannie, please come down from the alpha nice and on a slide. He sure did have some nice greens last night. Sending mobility vines and appy, too. Oh so sorry about his back legs. I know that hurts to watch but glad he recovers. I hope today is a good day for him. That Elsa is so cute waiting for a prime time to sneak in some play time with the nanners. :lol: I will get in a walk today, forgot to answer. I love running into neighbors that are out walking their pooches. Have a nice day doing chores, you sure no mini hike if it's good weather. Housework can wait. :lol:
Mannie, many thanks on the Triple Espressos, very much needed on a Monday.

Road trip to bakeries sounds great. I do love that danish bakery up by Tess especially good. I'll be at the same spot, tks, Mags

Enjoy your walk today. It is fun to run into neighbors etc. I used to love that aspect when I went for early morning walks in the neighborhood. Amazing the number of people I'd meet who were just standing on their porches with their morning cup of coffee. :-D And I agree: housework can wait... :lol: :cool:

Maybe he is auditioning to be on Winne the Pooh? I always wanted to go to the Hundred Acre Wood, even though that Rabbit is a neurotic jerk. Ok, enough silliness ( I did not get enough sleep!) Time to get down to business... I am rolling up my sleeves and sending more anti-bounce vines to your big guy. Please come down, Mannie, nice and easy.

Well, you knew that the trampoline champ would bounce, but I know that you would prefer otherwise! I hope he comes back down to some nice blues later. Those were some nice greens yesterday, however! I hope that your boy will have a really fine day today, with good fuds, taking his meds with grace, good mobility, and great trips outdoors. And I hope that you will get those chores done ;-)
That looks like a nice trail you found yesterday. It looked like a bike trail in some of the pics. And wow on Seattle. When I lived there the highest structure was the Space Needle. Is it still there?

Hi Devon - yupp, they are AWFUL! THX on the leg thing, it is tough, but overall he gets around just fine. THX on today. So far it's been good.

Hi Courtney - I know... I had so hoped when I tested him this morning. Yellow would have been cool, even a pink...LOL on Winnie the Pooh - could be! one never knows with these kitters! Thanks for the silliness, it did out a smile on my face. :-D Mannie says thanks for the vines - he's rolling in them, says it will help!

Hi Ella - Yupp, I knew he would, it was a given for me, but I really had hoped it would not be this bad. Yesterday was great though - that is so true. THX on his day. I'm about to take him our for a bit, as we have sun an he'd be thrilled to be outside. I hope he doesn't try for another adventure though. :lol: :lol: And yes on the chores! Only one left to do - I was good this morning and got them done. :-D -- The trail by the pool was nice - and yes, there is a large part that is also a bike trail. I too remember when Seattle highest point was the Space Needle, and yes - it is till there., with a very nice restaurant topside.

I was talking with your bean and because she doesn't want to be the baddie, she asked me to tell you that you are grounded Mister! You are not allowed to party or go out for 2 weeks. It is possible that she may relent and make it 2 days. For now, you are grounded - so you need to get home ASAP or it may turn into two months!

I am sorry to have to tell you this, but it is for your own good.....at least she won't take the nanner pile away!

Hi Barb - thx, and yes it does. it's been a tough day for me. Mannie seems to be OK with it all, he always is. me? not so much... It's hard, even when you now the reason behind it all. THX too: he is headed down, so nicer numbers are on their way. YAY!

Yeah for a number!! I so know what you mean when it looks like the worst of the bounce might be done. That was some spectacular diving last night and some amazing trampoline work shortly thereafter. :YMHUG: I hope those Hi's at least gave you a chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather today.

It's cute that Mannie is starting to share his nanners a bit with Elsa. I'm sure she appreciates it. My Buster(GA) had issues walking on our hardwood floor - darn fuzzy foot pads and arthritis. I wished I'd put down some more rugs in the places he hung around the most.

Let me preface this by saying that I don't know squat about R, but do you think it might help Mannie when he bounces sky-high like this? He's almost getting predictable with this "good beegees" "bad beegees" pattern.

Hi Wendy - I KNOW!! so so glad to see numbers after a day of letters... ;-) AT least this one was short-lived too: the bounce. What a diver and bouncer he has become. It reminds me of the way he was when he was first DX'd: same pattern of dives and bounces. And YES; did get out and enjoy the sun: a short woods hike, but a very nice one. I think so too on lEsa and the nanners - it is nice that he now shares. I agree too on the hardwood/tile floors. I have moved his feed spot to a carpeted one, makes it much easier for him.

Hi MJ - Well I have thought about R, but am just not a big fan of it. He can be so unpredictable with unforeseen dives etc. That and I'm in and out alot, I just can't add that to the mix when I may be gone. HE is so prone to bouncing after diving, and I think with him the effect of R would be to create those dives. I dunno... will think on it some. THANK YOU fior the suggestion. I know on the patterns... he has been through so many, that I also wonder when he will chnage this one, onto another.... darn cat!
