Yesterday was yellow lets clear the bounce day. :-D Mannie seems to have a new pattern these days: we have a great green cycle. YAY! The next one is usually fairly decent, but it is the one after that where he hits the pink floor. This is new for him. Gone it seems are the days when the bounce was immediate. It was nice last night to see him leave the pink floor as soon as he got there. YAY! Well done Mannie! so.... how about a return trip to the lower floors? They have really cool things there. what'd'ya say? Lubs ya big gy - you are the best! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We have had such an odd assortment of weather yesterday: rains, then rain/snow mix, then add some fog, and then throw in a few sun rays, and wow: the topper - big walnut size hail. :shock: Poor Mannie was so beside himself - every time he's think he would venture out it was doing something unthinkable out there. No outside for him, no perimeter patrol. :shock: He get about three feet onto the deck and be hammered by something - what a quick about face that was. :lol: :lol: So he spent most of the day napping, when he wasn't busy with his nose pressed to the slider, checking if it was now OK. :lol: The nanners remain as they were when DGS was here last: still two circles, and still the lone nanner on the other side of the room. And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. Since I did alot of nothing yesterday, today I need to pay the piper. Time to get some things done! like bills.... and laundry.... and cleaning.... and of course a short hike somewhere, more than likely local, as the weather is still iffy. it really is so typical of March here: winds, rain showers, few thunderstorms, a little hail.... and every now and then some sun as a teaser. I hope today will be one of those teaser days, :lol:

Hey everybody! WHAT A PARTY last night! I am so full.... WOOT! and the after party! well.... I think we need a chillaxin' day, a hanging out day. Chef Mannie, that was some spread you put on last night for Sam's party! All those delicious PNW specialties. I would say that it is indeed a good day to chillax. Rusty will be over later to laze around and eat leftovers, if there are any (doubtful!). Now, both you and Rusty are on the yellow floor and it would be nice if you could get down a floor--or two.

Hi Michelle, Your weather sounds like early spring. Here it is unseasonably warm and we are waiting for a dive back into winter. Edward is already getting his paddling gear sorted out, but I think that is premature. We'll enjoy this warm spell while we can, however. Have a nice hike today and get all those chores done. I have to do the same chores as you! Sorry to have missed your condo yesterday. The day just got away from me!

Mornin Michelle, ~O) and how about coming down to some lower floors, Mannie, but no big drama! Wow with the walnut sized hail stones! We've had some heavy rain showers here but I don't think any hail in this area. Maggie says be careful, Mannie, on your outside ventures and definitely come inside for the lb, too! :lol: That would sure hurt the noggin with one of the hailstones.

Mannie, what a super great party and you really outdid yourself again with the menu. Everyone filled their tummies so full that I'm surprised we have leftovers. I'll be over soon to help out! Yes, maybe after leftovers we can visit one of our friends with a pool, Mags

Hi Ella - Yep. I think these boys need to rethink the yellow floor thing, especially since Mannie decided to poke his head on up to the pink one and see what is going on there... :roll: And yes on the weather - typical for march. so we juggle weather and hikes. always a challenge! Enjoy your warmth today - maybe Edward has a hunch that you will be able to get out soon. :-D No worries on the condo - it happens to me too!

Hi Ann - I agree - lower floors would be nice, but no drama - had my fill the other night. :lol: LOL on the Mannie noggin and the hailstones. He sure was checking that out - from inside! They were so big!

Come on back down Mannie, it can't be that fun up there. it's odd that they all seem to be in sync these days. Tess was the same yesterday, well , a little more upset about the weather. Walnut sized hail? Wow, we had hail too, but just little stuff. I don't blame Mannie for staying in. Hopefully you hike today won't leave you out in anything like that!

Mannie, I'm all for chillaxin. Yesterday was scary, it was so noisy outside! I could make more crepes and we can just roll stuff up in them. -- Tess

Hi Ann - that hail was unreal - I have never seen it that size here before - so so strange, but fun. And it was a soft hail - made a small splat when it hit, but still stayed round. most odd.... and this morning it has just started snowing... :shock: Me too on the being out in that. I will do the local stuff here, but not till the weather improves a little. -- it is odd that they seem to be in synch. hmmmm - they must have planed this. :-D

Tess - I KNOW! It was scary here too. I never seen stuff like that.... and the noise. and then the sky started making big loud noises too. But I couldn't find anything up there ya know. weird.... very cool on the crepes, and I gots lots of stuff for them - I am IN! ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle, I thought the same thing when I saw Mannie's condo: Mannie and Zener are doing the same thing today. Zener just dived to a 207. Mannie, you could follow but much more slowly, ok? Crazy cats. :lol: :lol: Crazy weather too.

Glad to see Mannie heading down to the low yellows. Too funny that Zener and Mannie seem to be copying each other. Poor Mannie...unable to go out and play yesterday.

I continue to be entertained by the visual of Mannie's nanners. Maybe the lone nanner on the other side of the room is in time out.

Hi Georgia - I was too.... where did that +8 come from? sheshhhhh..... he was so in synch with zener, so I hope that Zener hasn't followed him up the pink floor. :shock: Thx on Mannie and those silly nanners - the whole thing is such fun for me. And ya know - you could be right on that lone nanner being on a time out. hadn't thought of that, but today - hasn't been touched once. poor nanner! exiled!

Zener - it's me, Mannie.... uhhhhhhh.... I seem to have taken a wrong turn.... I dunno what happened ya know? I will see if I can find my way back. Darn GPS must be mal-functioning. :o :shock: wow... none of this looks familiar...

Maybe DGS put that nanner in his mouth (it is a nanner after all) and it instantly became his very own as far as Mannie is concerned. :lol:

Icky weather + high BG numbers make for a good chore day! Me, too, since I don't have to test every 20 minutes today. Have a good afternoon, Michelle.

Hi Michelle and Mannie, don't get to visit often cause of my bad arms, and neck, and low back…ok, cause of my bad body. But I just wanted to visit a few condos today. Daphne is being closely monitored with her low numbers. Hope Mannie can come down a bit and not bounce so much. Did I ever tell you I had a Maine Coon, her name was Carly and she looked a lot like Mannie, same colors. She was the most lovable kitty I ever had…always wanted to be with me, and close to my head, lots of kissing, and slept on my pillow all night.

Hope you have a good rest of the weekend, whats left of it.

Hi Randa - I like that theory! DGS does pout everything in his mouth, and it does kinda look like a real nanner.... could be! That really would not surprise me at all. :lol: And yes, it has been a good chore day - I really did get alot done. nice isn't it when you can have a day where you aren't testing every half hour! :cool: :razz:
