Morning ~O) Maggie girl woke me just before the alarm went off, so we had time for some scritches and cuddles. I just love the way the stairs are working out with Mags. I'm finally getting a little REM sleep in now which is making a big difference. Looking forward to Mannie's coffee today! ~O)
Great news for Detective Poo. I know the Detective leaves shortly for a holiday, but Maggie wanted Detective Poo to know that she had a nice deposit of prezzies, good consistency, always on the soft side and formed! :-D Just a few details!
Mags took her Day 2 b/p pill in a pill pocket, then later after some food she had a Miralax serving mixed with bf, then more food and a little later a dose of Cisapride. That's all the meds for now except Miralax is ongoing periodically thru the day. All other P's okay, too.

Thanks Ella, Amy and Josie for the visits and helpful info on the b/p med, after I logged off. Josie thanks on the duck and pea pill pocket recommendation. I'll look for them. I know the chicken pp has some sugar in it, but I thought such a small amount of pp might not hurt, but the way Mags reacts to carbs may be similar with the sugar in pp's. She gets her Pepcid in the pp also, so I probably use three pp's a day. Amy, I sent you a pm on the b/p and Foster & Foster question.

Good amps there Maggie - I expect the next stop is the lagoon? it was a very nice day yesterday too.

I am so glad that the steps are working out well for Maggie. It must be nice to now be able to get some uninterrupted sleep. :-D :cool: I like the wake-up call, not too soon, just in time for some cuddles.

YAY for prezzies!!

Good luck to with the BP meds - sounds like that i going well.

Enjoy your day today Ann. Out for a walk today?

Mags woke up from her nap asking for food, so I had a feeling she was dropping. I like her nudge to test.

Thanks Angela, looks like she listened, now to keep her surfing in the green Lagoon. She is eating Evo today, so hopefully it won't spike her as much as the Cowboy Cookout jazz! :-D

Michelle, thanks, and you were right. It seems the food empties and she has an early Nadir, quite a drop.
Once she drops, she wants food, so it keeps her surfing. Yes, the stairs and sleep are nice! :-D I'm not allowed to sleep in apparently though :lol: as I tried yesterday and she would not stop crying for me to get up!

Thanks Josie, missed you up there. So far so good today. I'll look for the other pill pockets in the dog section, I think someone here said they could be located.

oh no on the sleep in! well the lack of being able to sleep in. Mine won't let me either - I can't remember the last time I slept in.... :lol: :lol:

Very nice Maggie condo - in her 'kini, takin' all her meds, prezzies, using her stairs so MamaBean can get some REM sleep (I am SO jealous!). Keep up the good work, little girl!

Detective Poo here. Great report for Mags! Nice on the prezzies and nice on the stairs! :-D :-D And in the lagoon! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I may on vacation but I'll still check on the Mags. :lol:

That's great the stairs are working out so well for Maggie and you are able to get some sleep. It's too bad she won't let you sleep in. Yay on the poo!

Mags has been sleeping this whole time and thought I'd better get an out the door check. Looks like she managed three hours in the Green Lagoon.

Hi Michelle, I can't remember either the last time I was able to sleep in since being owned by a kitty! :lol:

Thanks Amy, she has been so good with everything. I am so lucky.

Detective Poo, thanks for checking on Mags and thought you would be pleased. So far so good with all Miralax and no more Lactulose, which pleases Mags.

Hi Ann. Great to hear that Maggie is comfortable using her stairs now. Her +6 isn't too far out of theGreen zone so we have our fingers crossed that she will return to theLagoon.

High bookends for Mags. Today she had Evo chicken & turkey. She had no food after the +6 but still the higher blue.

Thanks John for your visit. Yes, the stairs are a blessing. She just needed to do it in her own timing.
Mags had a few good hours in the Lagoon.
 
Maggie, it's great that you spent some time in the lagoon today. And I see that you have mastered the steps. Good girl!! Now your mamabean can get some much needed good sleep!
