Good Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! I just love ~O) ), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! and as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......

I hope your day yesterday was a good one. Mine was good. I had hoped for a road trip to Eastern Washington, to the Yakima area for a canyon hike, as it was sunny and warm over there. The mountain passes here however had a different idea and dumped alot of snow there from late Monday night through mid day yesterday. So.... no road trip for me. it was OK though, I got out anyways, as the weather her improved alot. It ended up being a very nice outdoor day. Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been great. Happy St Patrick's Day! Here's to corned beef and cabbage and green beer. And a green Chicago River. we did well here today. It has been for all intent and purposes a sunny say. Go figure, as they said rain rain and more rain when I went to bed last night. I was glad to see the sun. It snowed alot this morning in the mountains, roads were a mess, usual restrictions, but by 11/12 is was drivable. That was just too late for me to head on over to Yakima. oh well no matter. I will go sometime soon. I decided about 8 this morning to go and do something that I have wanted to do for a while, since the weather on most of the trails here was questionable. So... went and visited all the Lynnwood Parks that I have not seen before. I think I did maybe 6 or 7 of them just to see what they were like, what they offered, and what Nicholas would think. Each one was a little different, each one had something he would like. Two even had spray parks, which would really be nice for the summer. The one a few blocks from here even has a cable line! it kinda works like a zip line. Now that is cool. So all in all, a successful endeavor this morning, plus it was fun. I made it home about 1 or so, still under somewhat blue skies. Since March is March here and the rains could hit any day I thought what the heck. It is still sunny so off I went again, this time just to my usual local hike in the woods and the shore here, Meadowdale. That was nice too. It was still cool at 45, but we had sun for the most part. I enjoyed that hike alot.Tide was out too so I was able to make a dilapidated pier further on down the shoreline. I just love that thing. it used to be a fishing stopover for the local fisherman back in the 50's, and has quite the history associated with it. What a nice day. All totaled I think I put about 11 miles on the legs today. YaHOO on that. That felt good. :-D :-D :-D "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part...Lola will always be Lola. It was nice enough yesterday that Elsa made a few trips outside. It was so cool to see the old gal sunbathing on the deck railing, walking in the grass, just enjoying being outdoors. Gosh that so reminded me of Mannie. He loved that backyard. Funny, Elsa has taken over some of his "paths". That is kinda cool. I still have not let Lola and Bug out. Bug I think would do just fine, stay in the yard. I'm not so sure on Lola. Well.... know she wouldn't as anytime she has escaped she just takes off, warp speed, running everywhere. so: lock down for Lola.  I will have to think on this some once the good weather comes around. It would be great to have some sort of a kitty run, or catio, for her so she too can spend sometime outside. Bug has a new past-time. He has decided that table jumping and then sliding across the flat surface is a ton of fun.  Of course he knock off everything that is in his path.    :? My resident glass surface pounder, Lola, has added doors to her repertoire. oh great! Well I'm just glad she only pounds during the day, when we are around. a relief.... Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. It is a "social" day for me - later in the day off to Seattle for coffee with my friend. YAHOO! The morning will be spent catching up on some things, and a few errands.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Sounds like a great day yesterday. Very cool on the parks. The splash pads are awesome in the summer. Wow on the snow. Now I feel bad about our 75 today.

Yay for good kitties. Glad Elsa got outside and enjoyed the sun. Too funny on Bug. Have a great social day Michelle!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) I did enjoy yesterday - it was nice to take the time and view the parks, gives me a heads up on what they are like in the event we are near, and can spend some time. It was GREAT to find hose pray/splash pads. I never knew there were any around here. That was a nice find. THX on the kitties - they too had a good day yesterday, just being kitties. :-D ah no worries - you enjoy that 75!

Good morning! Sounds like a busy but relaxing day for you yesterday .. The spray parks definitely sound like something Nicholas will enjoy come this summer .. heck, William too at that point! Your kitties are so lucky to be able to get outside and enjoy the fresh air .. even if my girls weren't so afraid of it, the cars drive too fast around here, even though the speed limit is only 15 .. yeah, right! Enjoy your social day out!

WOW! on the 11 miles! But you must have felt great getting out after so much rain.

I saw an add for something called the Purrfect Fence, but at $1000 for 100 feet it was a bit too pricy. But it looked like it used sport's netting, like for batting cages.

I'm glad you had a wonderful time yesterday. I can't imagine drinking beer, let alone  beer. I love corned beef and cabbage, though. :-D

I hope that you stay safe today, and have a very relaxing time with your friend. A snack always goes well with coffee. :-D Especially a sweet snack. Thank you for stopping by our condo this morning. :YMHUG:

Hi Michelle! Ok, on Lola and the all door pounding and Bugs new routine of table sliding:

I'm glad Elsa can spend some time soaking up the sunshine, good for her :-D . And sweet that she is following Mannies paths cat_pet_icon . I don't think that I would let Lola outside either...safer that way!

I hope you have a nice social day

That's nice you got to visit the parks yesterday and you found something the boys will like. How funny on Bug. You never know what a kitty will come up with next. I hope Lola keeps the pounding to the daytime. I hope you had a great visit with your friend.

Hi Michelle,
Wow on those parks! And to have so many, so close :-D Way cool on the zip line, and the water features. Wish we had something like that close by.
What kind of birds are sitting on the pilings? The shape of them looks so familiar :?:
Hope you had a good social day!

Hi everybody! I hope all is going well in your neck of the woods. Things are good here, cold today, no sun, but good. I was able to finish the cleaning, and by vacuum supervisor Lola and her able assistant Bug made sure every nook and cranny were spotless. Well done guys! I spent the rest of the day beginning to install and explore some new computer photo software on the 'puter, something I have wnated to do for ages. Now I just need to find the time to work with it. I did amke Seattle too, and had a great tie with my friend. I decided to go in a bit early and spend some time at the Freeway Park, to see how Spring was progressing int he city. I really enjoy that park. It's nice year round, but when spring and summer hit it such a welcome relief from the busy crazy of a big city. Tins were starting to bloom, some just in bud stage, but spring has hit Seattle. Now if it had just been a bit warmer! Skies were gray, overcast, with a sprinkle now and then. Still a great visit despite the weather. I will post the Picassa link to the photos in tomorrows condo. :-D

Hi Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) It was! Busy m, but relaxing too. Being out on a trail will do that for me. Oh yes on the spray parks - i know they will love them, both are such water babies. I so know on kitties and traffic etc. We don't get much, but even still I worry about the cars. Nobody knows speed limits! Elsa stays put, Bug will too, but not Lola - therefore, she is "confined".

Hi Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) yupp, 11 miles. Loved it! not too much climbing so all was OK. Oh yes on the getting out. after all that rain, being able to be outdoors was really nice. oh wow on the perfect fence - that is pricey but sounds like what I would need. it would need to be Lola - proof. Is there such a thing?  Interesting thought on the sports netting,. cool, maybe I could incorporate something on my own, using that. I dunno.... food for thought!

Hi Angela ~O) ~O) ~O) Me too on yesterday - it was fun, and felt great to be out. I know on that green beer.... but the corned beef and cabbage? agreed on that! THX on Seattle, it was a great time, snack included!

Hi Rachel ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp, Lola has expanded her pounding talents.  and bug - sheshshh on that! Crazy, but kinda fun. It was great to see Elsa out, she loves her outdoors as much as Mannie did. It is good memories. I so agree on Lola - she goes wild out there. so... nope! Lock-down for her. ;-) THX on today - it was great.

Hi Carla ~O) ~O) ~O) I so agree on the parks. I have wanted to visit them for some time to see what was there, so it was good. It will be helpful when we are looking for a "short visit" outdoor type place. I thought so too on Bug: first time for him, that table siding. He had such fun! Me too on Lola's pounding. SO far no night time stuff, unless I have been so out of it that I didn't hear her. Sure hope not!

Hi Jane ~O) ~O) ~O) I was surprised at hoe many there were, and how clsoe they are together. Granted some were small ones, but even still they were large enough for the boys to be able to enjoy any time spent there. What a great find that small zip line thing was! Nicholas will just love that. So so agreed too on the spray parks. They are small, but even still, a nice wet alternative for any hot days we may get. The birds were heron ( a few) and and now I can' think of the name of the other ones.... dang! i will post it later if I can remember their name, How silly that it escapes me. THX on today - it was great.

It sounds like you had such a wonderful day yesterday! And Elsa, too, enjoying some sun instead of going out in the rain (silly girl!). I love that she is following Mannie's paths. I am sure Lola would love a catio...I don't know if you could trust her to behave out in the big world!

Have a great evening, Michelle!

Hi Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) I did - yesterday was great. Today was too. Me to on Elsa - she followed the main ones, but has yet to sit where Mannie alwyas sat, in the ground cover. That was his place. It is nice to see her following his trails. Loved it! I think so too n Lola: a catio or something similar would be so nice for her. Now just to figure out how to do that. I wish I could let her just go out, but I can't trust her to stay in the yard.

Hi Michelle,
I'm glad that you had a good Seattle day. The exploration of your local parks yesterday was a great way to plan for spring with the boys. Now you'll have lots more venues! Photo software for your computer! I can see fun ahead (when you have a free moment  ).

Have a great evening.

Elsa, we really appreciated that hot ~O) this morning, when it was -3 degrees outside and we had to go out. But the day warmed up nicely.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) I thought so too on the parks, one huge reason for gong before hand to see which ones were really doable. It will help alot this summer. To find spray parks was really great too! So so true on photo software - I am so looking forward to that, now just to find the time!
