YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! and as a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
I hope your day yesterday was a good one. Mine was good. I had hoped for a road trip to Eastern Washington, to the Yakima area for a canyon hike, as it was sunny and warm over there. The mountain passes here however had a different idea and dumped alot of snow there from late Monday night through mid day yesterday. So.... no road trip for me. it was OK though, I got out anyways, as the weather her improved alot. It ended up being a very nice outdoor day. Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your day has been great. Happy St Patrick's Day! Here's to corned beef and cabbage and green beer. And a green Chicago River. we did well here today. It has been for all intent and purposes a sunny say. Go figure, as they said rain rain and more rain when I went to bed last night. I was glad to see the sun. It snowed alot this morning in the mountains, roads were a mess, usual restrictions, but by 11/12 is was drivable. That was just too late for me to head on over to Yakima. oh well no matter. I will go sometime soon. I decided about 8 this morning to go and do something that I have wanted to do for a while, since the weather on most of the trails here was questionable. So... went and visited all the Lynnwood Parks that I have not seen before. I think I did maybe 6 or 7 of them just to see what they were like, what they offered, and what Nicholas would think. Each one was a little different, each one had something he would like. Two even had spray parks, which would really be nice for the summer. The one a few blocks from here even has a cable line! it kinda works like a zip line. Now that is cool. So all in all, a successful endeavor this morning, plus it was fun. I made it home about 1 or so, still under somewhat blue skies.
Since March is March here and the rains could hit any day I thought what the heck. It is still sunny so off I went again, this time just to my usual local hike in the woods and the shore here, Meadowdale. That was nice too. It was still cool at 45, but we had sun for the most part. I enjoyed that hike alot.Tide was out too so I was able to make a dilapidated pier further on down the shoreline. I just love that thing. it used to be a fishing stopover for the local fisherman back in the 50's, and has quite the history associated with it. What a nice day. All totaled I think I put about 11 miles on the legs today. YaHOO on that. That felt good.

The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part...Lola will always be Lola. It was nice enough yesterday that Elsa made a few trips outside. It was so cool to see the old gal sunbathing on the deck railing, walking in the grass, just enjoying being outdoors. Gosh that so reminded me of Mannie. He loved that backyard. Funny, Elsa has taken over some of his "paths". That is kinda cool. I still have not let Lola and Bug out. Bug I think would do just fine, stay in the yard. I'm not so sure on Lola. Well.... know she wouldn't as anytime she has escaped she just takes off, warp speed, running everywhere. so: lock down for Lola.  I will have to think on this some once the good weather comes around. It would be great to have some sort of a kitty run, or catio, for her so she too can spend sometime outside. Bug has a new past-time. He has decided that table jumping and then sliding across the flat surface is a ton of fun.  Of course he knock off everything that is in his path.    :? My resident glass surface pounder, Lola, has added doors to her repertoire. oh great! Well I'm just glad she only pounds during the day, when we are around. a relief.... Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone. It is a "social" day for me - later in the day off to Seattle for coffee with my friend. YAHOO!
The morning will be spent catching up on some things, and a few errands.
