Morning LL!

~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) and some more ~O) Today is my first day back after a marvelous week off. Ugh. When that alarm went off, signaling the end of freedom, a sadness reverberated through the room, deepening with each escalating, urgent, BEEP. Spring Break is never long enough, but only 7 weeks left to the semester... that's not bad, right? :roll:

I DID manage to finish grading all my minion's papers. Some will be happy this morning, but others, not so much. I feel cruel, like this first Monday is wretched enough and to hand back grades is insult heaped on injury. Well, not more injurious and insulting than having to spend Spring Break reading them, I guess. That's right. Feel sorry for me!
In case you couldn't tell, not enough sleep here. Feeling very silly this morning. Kismet and DH think it is too early. We have been going BTB every day this week, and Kismet is in bed right now between us, and periodically shoots me a suspicious look over his shoulder like "Wth are you doing? You are typing too loud.Can't you see I'm sleeping here? Why are you still awake, huh?" :lol: My little smushy.

Today is day one of the dosecrease. Paws crossed.

My deepest condolences to Linda for losing her baby Weezer, and sending tons of vines to Tip, Gobbles, Noni, Shadow, Angie, Zener, Ruben and big anti-bounce vines out to Mannie. Congrats to Rachel and Chyna for starting their OTJ trial --- paws crossed we will have a party in a fortnight! :mrgreen:

Hi guys .. good luck with the new dose! And sorry to hear your week off has come to an end .. I feel for those getting back grades no one ever hopes for (because I had them handed to me nearly every time :lol: ) But I also feel for you having to read them during your week off! :lol: Devon, I do feel bad, really. I would wait until Wednesday, but today is the deadline to drop classes, so I wanted to get them back so those that aren't doing so hot (and they know who they are) will have more of an idea of their current standing in the class. Of my Grad/Teacher friends, I am the only one who promised to have their papers back by Monday for this reason. I usually take 2 weeks to grade, but got these done over the break. So even if it's bad news, it may be the news that some are depending on. Dropping the class means they get a DR grade on their records, but it won't affect their GPA. It's better to drop than to fail!

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope Kismet keeps working that juice. That was nice of you to take your time off and get the students' papers graded so they can drop the class if they need to.

Bummer about the end of spring break!!! It's actually very kind of you to have spent your time off grading papers...I hope your students realize that you are trying to help them!

Hi Courtney. Wishing Kismet the best with the new dose.

The time off always does go by fast....but wait until you get older and are retired, you'd swear that the whole world is on double time. I hope your students appreciate the time you put in to benefit them.

I think all of us and our kitties are still getting use to DST.

Carla, Amy, and John --- thank you all for visiting us! I am glad you agree that I am beyond generous :lol: The students were appreciative ( mostly, I got a few who came up to me at the end of class to "discuss" their grades) and we had a great first class back! They'd done all their homework, and even remembered what we talked about last class :shock: Good minions. As far as Mondays go, it has been a good one so far. I did not miss traffic and the long search for a parking space. Srsly. There are not enough faculty and staff spots so I frequently have to compete with students for a space. In the garages, they form lines at the elevator waiting for people to get off :roll:

:mrgreen: That's my greenie boy. Love coming home to these numbers. He nadirs at +5, so I rushed home just in time for the +5.6. I would have liked to have seen the green streak he was on after I left, but two greens :mrgreen: :mrgreen: since I've been back does this mamabean's heart good.

Work that joooice, baby boy!

K seems to like the new dose so far. I'm going to get his +2 and turn in... so tired today and fighting a nasty headache. I hope everyone has a lovely evening!

I crashed before +1! DH just woke me up to brush my teeth and take my ambien. My head is throbbbbbbing ugh. I feel hungover, without the pleasure of actually drinking. Feeling slightly feverish again, too :? I am going to call the doc first thing in the morning and see if she can take me in before work so we can figure this fever out.

K is extra cuddly tonight, he just took a little cat nap with me when I was waiting to get the +1. He wore himself out today with another impressive case of the zoomies. I think A-plex really is helping. It's not unusual for him to go a week or two without having any asthma so it's hard to tell if it's actually preventing fits, but what is evident is that the little guy is feeling good and energetic, and well enough to zoom up and down the stairs, hop on the bed, and then fly up his cat tree, back down the stairs, around the living room table, back to the bed. :lol: Kizzy obstacle course!

I've been wondering if this sounds familiar to any of you --- Kismet seems to really enjoy the sounds he makes when he zooms, he gallops and thunders. When you walk up our stairs, you have to stomp hard to produce any sound, and this guy sounds like a stampede of wild stallions. Do any of your cats enjoy making a lot of noise when they zoom around? I thought they were supposed to be stealthy and sneaky... :lol: Not this guy!

Glad I stayed up for this +3! :mrgreen: He had a mini meal @+1.75ish and will get his third and final mini meal @ +4. I gave him a few extra treats at this test. Gonna try to stay up for the +4 to see where he is. Love this dosecrease!

I have a herd-of-elephants-kitty too. It's amazing how much noise they can make! Not Angie, she looks down her nose upon such behaviour. I'm so glad that his new mess seem to be helping.
