Well, I am in tears today. I obviously am not the right bean for Eleanor.
I don't know what to do for her, and I am just so tired all of the time. All I do is fail her.

I don't know why she is so high, or what to do about it, or anything else, any more.
She is acting fine except for lying with her face in the water bowl, she has had a couple of soft poo - which could be caused by these high numbers.

I don't know what to do.

You do so much for her!! dont you ever feel you are not the bean for her!! its this disease... its frustrating and doesnt make sense... their patterns change... the foods that used to work change... the pooping and the vomiting effect it... and we all feel its our fault when they go high... but really its the disease... so please try to not be so hard on yourself... enjoy her... watch her run around and eat and play... and realize if you didnt do what you do every day that would quickly end... anytime she feels good is because of what you do for her and the insulin and care you give her... i hope tomorrow brings a new light to your day and that some rest tonight helps :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:Eleanor mama bean is feeling pretty bad about your numbers now... time to to give her some lower digits little lady... she needs to see them please

I don't know enough about FD to comment on the SS, but I DO know enough about how heartbreaking this whole thing can be, and leave the best mommie Eleanor could have feeling guilty and tired and dispirited. Agree with Lincolns Mom -- don't ever feel you are not the bean for her. Your very pain says you are :bighug:. I'm so so so sorry it's so hard -- I know the heartache and guilt only too well, sometimes I feel I let Angel down by not paying enough attention when he started getting sick and giving him too much dry food etc, but then have to just remind myself of all that I HAVE done and do for him, and not to be so hard on myself. Your chart shows how hard you're trying, your very presence on this board shows you are the best bean for her!!!! Sending so many hugs and wishes for you to feel better. And hey, Eleanor beautiful kitty! Help Mommy please! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Julie, I'm sorry things are so frustrating right now. You haven't failed Eleanor. You're doing a great job taking care of her. FD is unpredictable and has its ups and downs. You can't blame yourself for that. She's doing good right now because of your care for her.

I think you may have a failed reduction on your hands. She may need to go back to 1.25 units. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh sweet Julie I felt the same way the past few days--seriously how can just 1-2 drops make such a difference?? BUT we know it does-:banghead:
it is all part of the process -don't beat yourself up.... easier said than done but practice practice practice:smuggrin:
Eleanor loves you very much:kiss:
