Yesterday's Condo

Talk about a bounce! :shock: Holy cow! Glad he got the heck out of those stinky pinkies, though.

I had a couple of appointments this morning and didn't get home until almost shot time. Lots of running around today, and more tomorrow. After that I'm home all day for a while.

I didn't sleep much last night. I just keep going back and forth in my mind and crying. Today Cinco's been pretty lazy - not lethargic, just not interested in moving around. His appetite is off, but I'm pretty sure that's because he's constipated. His last poo was Thursday! He only ate a little of his first breakfast. I put Miralax in his second breakfast, and he ate all of that, with some prompting. Then he ate about half of the remaining first breakfast. I put another dose in his dinner, as well as some fish oil, and he's only eaten about a third of that. I'll keep trying to get him to eat it through the evening. If no result by tomorrow morning, I'll give him some canola oil. He often goes three days between BMs. The longest I see on his chart is 4 days, so he's definitely due. He just doesn't move around alot, and you need to move your body to get your colon moving. Maybe I need to carry him into the family room and make him walk back to his hidey hole a couple of times. :lol: Nah, that just seems mean.

Sasha has been sniffling and sneezing, and Harvey just started up, too. I don't know if it's allergies or a cold - Harvey has never had allergies (but he might as well start now, right?! :roll. I guess I'll call the vet tomorrow and see if I should bring them in or if there is something over the counter I can give them. I've had Sasha and Minka on L-lysine for a couple of months. I want to restart the Allerplex, but haven't gotten around to putting it into cat-size capsules. Sasha wouldn't eat it sprinkled on her food. I guess I'll have to give some to Harvey, too. :YMSIGH: If it's not one thing it's another. That's all I need - another vet bill!

Sorry I haven't visited any condos today. I'll try to get to some tonight. Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. Big hugs and more vines to Cain and Jennifer - I'm so excited to see Cain making progress! :YMHUG:

((((Tricia)))) I just got around to reading about yesterday's OV visit. I grew up with a kitty that ended up with one eye removed and the other with the lens popped forward and crystalized, so he only had vision around the very outside of his eye. He lived a few years like that - it was kidneys that got him in the end. I was constantly surprised how well he got around, even going up and down stairs. Good luck in your decision making. It's always a hard one given all the complexities.

I'm glad that Cinco is showing you some nicer numbers, away from pink. I'm so sorry that you have such a tough decision to make :cry: . I know you love him and want to do what is best! Many hugs and comfort vines to you as you consider things :YMHUG: :YMHUG: . Maybe the surgery would make him feel better...and would erase any doubt of if he does or does not have a terminal thing so you know. That may be just me that would want to know, it's tough. I pray you will be able to make the best decision for all of you.

I hope you see some poo soon! And I'm also sending healing vines to all of your little ones. More hugs!

Thank you, Wendy, Mariko and Rachel. Flat yellow tonight. Cinco still does not want to finish his dinner, which means he's not getting the Miralax. I'm thinking of trying some baby food a little later. I'll put some oil in it. Was it 1/2 tsp Rachel? He is not helping his cause with Mark by being so out of it. He rubbed his right eye after I put some drops in it earlier. He's never done that before. I'm wondering if it's starting to be uncomfortable. :sad:

If it's been awhile since poo I do 1 tsp...I heard Miralax uses up water too so maybe more water into him somehow, maybe some subqs? I know ABs make Chyna even more constipated...I'm sorry he is rubbing his eye :sad:
