Back Home Again Condo

Six seems to be today's number. Cinco did a drive-by of the lagoon, but China wasn't there, so he's back up on shore now, waiting for her. I guess Max and Skooter were too far out for him to hear that they were there. That's okay. I'm happy to see a little green and low blues. I'm still just amazed this is happening at all (anti jinx)!

Minka ate more than half of her breakfast this morning with something approaching enthusiasm, after her tummy meds kicked in. Sasha did well, too. Harvey, well, we all know about Harvey!

I'm still trying to come up with a better way to cover Sasha's sore on her neck. I tried putting ear holes in the knit tube she wears around her neck and pulling it up like a hood, but all she has to do is drop her ears and it slides off!

Really scratching my head on this one.

Lots of unpacking and stuff to get done, still. It's amazing how long it takes to recover from a five day trip!

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans, especially Doodle (Jennifer F). :bighug:Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM, Marje's DM and Elise's DM.

I hope Cinco slides back down to those high greens and low blues soon. I'm glad the kitties ate pretty good today.

@Linda and Bear Man, thanks for the link. I wish I had known about those when my Kisa had a feeding tube. Unfortunately, Sasha's irritated area extends up to the bottom of her ear, so I don't think the kitty kollar would cover it all. Great idea, though!

Thanks for visiting, Carla.

Minka ate some more this afternoon, but her weight is down quite a bit, so I guess I need to start assist feeding her. I gave Sasha a snack, which she ate happily and then threw right up! I gave her some Cerenia, as that seems to work better for her than Ondansetron. Her weight is down, too, but not as much as Minka's. I have one can of a/d left that I will use for assist feeding. I may ask the vet for a prescription for Iams MaxCal, since several people here have used it successfully.

You're going to have to knit her a turtle neck!

Cinco you are doing such a good job of being a cat and confounding the bean like that :cat: keep up the good work

If I could crotchet anything other than a washcloth, I would try to make something for Sasha!

Cinco, my man, don't do that silly bounce thing...you will just get tired, maybe an upset stomach from all the bouncy bounce....just slide on down and chill in da greens with Skooter!

Sending vines to all the kittehs.....too bad you can't transfer some of Harvey's enthusiasm for eating to the girls....

Back to the lagoon for you, Cinco. I'll be watching! (maybe from on shore, however),
~ Rusty

Good luck with finding a collar or shirt, Tricia. Maybe just put some vaseline on it to protect it?

Hugs to you and scritches to the whole kitty krew.

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for visiting, Molly, Chris, Linda and Ella. Molly, I wish I could transfer Harvey's appetite to the girls.

Ella, I put vitamin E oil on it, at the direction of Sasha's Oncologist. I need to find some what to either cover the area or cover her foot. So far, so bad.

Not a bad curve for Cinco yesterday, despite a few extra yellows! Sending more appy and tummy-settling vines for the girls. Hopefully the assist-feeding will set Minka's appy in action. Cerenia seems to work better for Trix, too. I give it to her every other day (have been doing that since last April), just to stay ahead of potential tummy issues.

Eat up, girls!!
