Check's day is starting off well. I was not expecting the pink bounce, since last night's number, was rising by +3, but who knows what happened during the night.
I set the timer for +8, to test and snack, but chose to ignore it. Bad bean.

Bummer on the pink, but t sure didn't take him long to find the greens. Go checkers! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I was surprised at that drop to 90 t +3, because I made sure he ate at +2. Guess I should have given MC, instead of LC. I'm always unsure of how much carb to give, ya know?

Glad I stocked up on gravy food yesterday. He got a Tablesp. gravy/food at +4. It sure brught him up fast.
It's hard for me to be conservative with the gravy, when he dips into the forties. I should be used to it by now; it's a decent number.

Cute picture, Celi. Checks lives with birds; only two left now, but he is so accustomed to them, he ignores them when he is in their room, searching the floor for contraband.
They sometimes have pancake, or French toast, that they throw on the floor.

They of course, are watching his every move. :-D

Lesson hopefully learned: Give teas, not tablespoon, of HC.

The Beanie Weenie is a little leery of birds since the butt-nipping incident at the nursing home :lol:

Hi Barb, Checkers hit quite a range of numbers today! Love the story about the birds being ignored while Checks looks for the food they dropped!!!
Have a great evening and tell Checks not to forget his snowshovel tomorrow! We still have a big pile of snow in front of the barn (but nothing like the picture I posted--that's from 2 weeks ago).

Hi Ella. Mine is all gone from the walkway. Yay!

Some day, when I'm more awake, I'll tell about the time Checks had a parakeet trapped on my bed, and just sat there, staring at the little bird yelling at him.
He was so stunned at it's big mouth, he didn't know what to do.
That's when I decided to put a screen door on the birdroom. :lol:

Oh, I guess I did tell it.
 
Look at Checkers today!!! Down...lovely numbers (even in the 40s)...nice up...and then down again. Way to GO!! You are managing him so nicely, Barb.

Funny story about the bird....wish I could have seen Checker's face!
 
Hunh, I thought that I had posted. :? Nice drop for +2 Checkers is getting back to business.

when I got my first cat she was just a kitten and i was a little worried about cat and bird interactions, I had a cockatiel. As soon as I brought her home I let Max out of his cage and held Cleo up to him. She sniffed, he nipped and there was never any further problem! :lol:
