I have a feeling coco wont be going blue today,
AMPS - 463
+4 - 498

We did get his results for Acro and he does have Acro. So I am switching to Levemir on Monday. But until then, i wish he wasn't so bouncy on his cycles. >.>

I'm sorry about the dx, but at least now you know what you're working with. It makes things easier and harder at the same time.

Just a thought, I'm not sure I would be in such a hurry to switch to Lev when the Lantus is just starting to do some really nice things for Coco. I would be inclined to give Lantus a chance for a little while and if it doesn't work, then change.

I know most of the high dose cats switch to Lev. I did for Jazzy, not because Lantus wasn't working but mostly so I would have first-hand experience using both insulins. I've heard that Lev doesn't sting as much at high doses, and I can't say for sure that is true for Jazzy. She growled and tried to bite when I shot her with Lantus, and she still does the same with Lev! Her numbers are about the same but the late onset and late nadir can be frustrating because I can't stay awake until her onset (usually around +4) so I've often woken up to surprises in the morning. When I went to bed I thought she was going up, but when I woke up she was low. Sometimes I think about switching back to Lantus just because with Lantus I could know which way the cycle was going by +3 or +4, and could decide if I needed to stay up or could go to bed safely.

Something to think about.
