Yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9408#unread

Morning...

Lib, I will get a nadir...spring break starts this afternoon (thank GOD!!), so I can do more spot tests over the next few days. It's just really, really hard to sit at this dose, and not see improvement (although, there is improvement; he's not up at 577...). I'm just concerned, you know? Really concerned, to be honest.

WCR: Sweet, laying on the computer mouse at the moment. Cuddled for about 20 minutes last night in bed. Continues to show all clinical signs of DM.

We will see how things go...

Michele

Re: 3/18/10 Eeyore PMPS+10=374

Michelle--I'm not sure what happened, but somehow yesterday when I looked at Eeyore's SS, google picked it up and put it on my doc list. In the docs page it's showing it as being shared with everyone, versus my Max's SS is listed as not shared yet. You might want to take a look at how Eeyore's SS is set up...something is wonky there. NOt that I think anyone would do it, but I'd hate to see someone screw up your data.

Re: 3/18/10 Eeyore PMPS+10=374

Good grief. Let me see what I can figure out. Sigh...

ETA: Just checked through, and no edits are set to allow folks to change things. Just look. But I don't know if that's true...I may set up a new page for him, just because I seem to have gotten this one wonky. A quick overview shows the same numbers as before ( as far as I can tell). Not sure what to do...

Re: 3/18/10 Eeyore PMPS+10=374

Sorry Michele, I know you've had problems with his SS all along--just trying to make sure you don't have any more! ;-)

Re: 3/18/10 Eeyore PMPS+10=374

I also have several people's SS and profiles showing up in my Google docs list (including Eeyore's after I looked at it). No idea why some and not others though.

Hi Michele,

I am so happy that Eeyore is in competent hands. He is such a dear and really didn't deserve what he's been through recently (but do any of them?).

Just wanted to remind folks that Diabetic Cats in Need is fundraising for Eeyore. He will get his full rescue vetting, courtesy of DCIN, on Saturday. I don't know what it might cost, but I've set a target of $300. I've got $80 so far. DCIN also promised to provide Eeyore's Lantus through the end of the year (unless he goes.....you know). He's had an insulin donation, but any excess moneys from this fundraising will go to the Lantus pledge.

PayPal at ennis93 @att.net (remove space). Thanks. Commercial over. Go back to what you were doing. Have a nice day!!

Bless his dear heart. He's up at 512, still showing all s/s of clinical diabetes. I don't really notice much change in his behavior from the 200-500s, but then again, I don't know him that well.

I will say he's been very snuggly all afternoon...hasn't wanted to leave my side, laid on my textbook, wedged himself between me and the arm of the recliner...just wanting touch and love all afternoon. AND - he has CURLY BELLY HAIR! Somehow, I find that totally hysterical...and I can't stop fiddling with his (ahem) short and curlies...

I am going to get a curve done tomorrow, so when the vet visit happens this Saturday, I will have a week's worth of data, as well as a full 12 hour curve, so we can figure out what is the best next step together.

I think that, once we get his diabetes under a bit better control, he will stop eating everything in sight. Right now, if he's not eating, he is trying to convince me to feed him. LOL. Right now he's grooming, and in a bit, as he's shown time and again, he'll hit the litterbox, and then do some post dinner goofing off with Malachi (who really seems to enjoy Eeyore's company...I think it's totally adorable).

We will see how everything goes tomorrow...and then, of course, the vet on Saturday. And if any of you can help Venita out by a donation, I'd very much appreciate it. Out of her heart she's paying for this...and it matters a lot to create a good, solid starting point regarding his heath, so he can have a great, full life wrestling with Malachi and lounging around in the living room. Even $5 will help a lot...(O.K., my pitch is over with, too...)

Hope everyone has a great evening!

Best-
Michele
