WCR: All Ps in place. Got snuggles at bedtime and she joined me this morning when my alarm went off for scritches, snuggles and lovin'! Mostly, I think she was just hungry...but I don't care...I'll take snuggles any way I get them. Appy is ok this morning. She seems to be ok this morning, but a little meat loafy-like. We're suppose to have storms today and I wish I could just stay home with my little girl. She needs protecting against the scary thunder!
Sorry I didn't get back on the computer last night other than to update her BG info. I spent all day painting the doors and the trim and running errands and cleaning palm frons from the back yard and working on the computer to get my students their audio recordings. Thank you Amy, Michelle, Rachel & Carla for the visits yesterday. Shasta was very nappy yesterday while I ran around. I did get some snuggles and love when I would come inside and get something, but I wasn't around much. As clarification on the vet tech who said that too much Potassium wouldn't hurt Shasta, the body would just expel the extra...he never gave us a dose to use. I was telling him that I was worried about giving her too much K because we were unable to get in and do follow-up blood work and that's when he said what he said. He never gave us a dose...we are using the dose prescribed by the vet...1 PotassiTab per day. I just wish there were an easy test like testing her BG that I could do versus hauling her in to the vet and having her sedated. What I wouldn't do for this little girl!
