Thinking of Will and Clyde today as they mourn the passing of Will's beloved Max. Fly Free, Max!

Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!

All Kitties should wear the GREEN today! The LagoonMeister has ordered a batch of green waterwings for surfing kitties exploring the deep end of the lagoon.

Rusty had a good night and was raring to go this morning, sliding on the rugs and putting a large dent into his breakfast. Now he is sleeping it off. Edward is at yoga. I'm feeling pretty good, but the cold has moved into my eyes. Every day it presents new aspects. What a treat!

We have rain/sleet this morning and the driveway is a skating rink. The deer have decided to stay in our wooded area today (usually they head each morning to the mountain). They are lounging in their snow beds and, no doubt, anticipating the apple cores we leave for them after lunch.

Wishing all a good day and continuing to send vines to all in need,

Ella & Rusty

:D:DThe LagoonMeister is on duty in the deep end. Good thing he ordered those green waterwings! I guess the added drop did indeed jump start Rusty out of his trip bounces. I think I'll take the fat off his dose tonight and go back to where it was before our trip.
It's snowing like mad outside (looks like one of those snow globes) and the temperature is dropping fast. We're supposed to be back in single digits tonight, maybe even back to zero. The deer knew what they were doing when they decided to stay "home" today!

The LagoonMeister has to be early on duty today! Nicely done clearing the trip bounce.

I hope you get rid of that cold soon! Take care when you have to go out.

Mr. O'Rusty. That's enough. We want you in the Green Lagoon, just not out scoping the deep end.

Cold-be-gone all the way vines, Ella.

So I took Rusty's dose back down to a straight .75U. The little nudge of a drop after the trip bounces seemed to do the trick and I don't want him going too low on the fat .75 and then bouncing.

Apparently conditions are right tonight to see the Northern Lights. That would be great!

I feel good tonight. Rusty is a good nurse.

Looking very Irish today Rusty! :D

Time for some soup for you Ella - corned beef and cabbage soup maybe? I hope you can see the Northern Lights tonight - doesn't that mean it's cold?

SO JEALOUS!!! I bet they will be beautiful.

I hope your evil, mean, awful cold goes away fast! We went from the 70s this weekend to the 30s here....a bit of a shock to the system...oh I so look forward to winter to be over!

Swim safely there, Rusty, ok?

YES! We can see the Northern Lights!! It's cold (about +10 degrees). The sky is fantastic: brilliant stars, no moon, very windy, and the pulsing white and very delicate pink and green Aurora Borealis. Haven't seen them since a Labor Day camping trip in the early 1980s. What a treat!!!

Maybe I should have left the fat on Rusty's dose, but I had a hunch I should go back to .75 straight. We'll see what happens!

Ni ni,

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Sorry I missed you yesterday... A hiking day for me.

It is great to see Rusty found the lagoon yesterday. Well done Rusty! I hope all kitties used your green waterwings.

How fantastic that you saw the northern lights. That is just so cool. And more snow??? Here we are in the 50's, things in bloom, and you guys are still ice and snowbound. Crazy weather...

Good luck with Rusty's new dose. :)
