punkin is doing fine this morning - no news is good news on him. he purred away while the food was getting ready, even stopping to wash anya's forehead for her! of course we also had the now-typical craziness of cats leaping after little balls of pill pockets on the floor.

i'm going to try giving punkin the bupe along with the gabapentin. i think we have about 2 doses of bupe left - just to see if anything will get him comfy enough to want to be held. i just miss having the furry guy on my lap. although for not wanting to cuddle with me, i am certainly covered with his hair all the time. i don't know where it comes from, but it's embarrassing to go to work with so much hair. even the adhesive sheets don't get it all off.

Our civie Tillie is a Manx and she has that very thick Manx coat. Her hair is everywhere. Same color as punkin too. :lol: :lol: Hope the extra shot of bupe helps him feel better. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Oh dear (or words to that effect) I just did a google image search for 'cat fur' to see if I could find a clever picture - don't ever do that :cry:

It must be so hard to have that lovely purry furry bundle of love right in front of you and not be able to cuddle him freely.

yes, liz, that hair is incredible.

and oh serryn, you have to be thick-skinned to google image "cat+" anything. :lol: i've seen some, well, yes, some *ahem* pictures. ;-) :-D

:lol: :lol: I hear you on the cat fur. I wear scrubs to work and they attract so much of it!! I keep a lint roller in my car and clean them off when I get to work - and STILL I am covered in it! Maybe you should just wear orange every day, Julie. ;-)

Personally, I love it when I find cat fur in the bag with a brand new piece of clothing that hasn't even seen a cat yet! Can't even imagine what life would be like without cat fur!

I used to be really dilegent about using the lint roller when we had just Elie...but now that we also have 2 others...its a losing battle :lol:

I now choose clothing colors/textures that won't show the hair. Gone are the days of wearing black! :cool:

There were definitely some "ahem" photos when I googled "brazilian". :lol: :lol: :lol: On wikipedia, no less.

So we're all crazy cat ladies...who cares about the fur?
