Ravenous doesn't even begin to describe my cat...He ate like a viking army that had been out to sea for a month! I only gave him a spoonful at a time and he still managed to eat a small can of FF. He is a bit of a whirling dervish right now. Two teeth extracted although he has neck lesions so one was already broken off and the other had a big hole in it so they just take the crown and the root kind of reabsorbs into the gum. fructosamine was 268 and ALT was 273? we have to watch that number. Riley my civvie was good, no crystals, good pH although he is down a pound and a half since 8/09. probably has to do with coming off dry food so I am not really worried but we did a blood panel to be safe and a thyroid test. All is well in Javaland! vines and snowflakes to all our ailing kitties.

Java has come off the anesthesia pretty well. He is eating good although I am not sure he is a fan of wellness. He has been doing a lot of napping, though strangely I keep hearing mumbling about massages and corned beef and cabbage?
