Good morning LL and thank you for your support with Max. It means a lot.

This morning Clyde was at 81 and when I went to give him his shot, found out I screwed up. I misjudged the amount of insulin left in the pen and was out. With everything going on last week with Max, I never got around to it. :( I did call in a refill yesterday and it should show up today or tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm hoping for normal numbers until it comes it.

Again, sorry to hear about Max.

Hope Clyde's surfs without the insulin for a day or two. Maybe you will find you can start an OTJ trial.

@Tina & Sammy thank you again. I will keep my fingers crossed that he stays in the normal range until the insulin arrives.

It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. I right now, I can't think of anything better that could happen then Clyde being able to start an OTJ trial again, even if it wasn't planned.

Clyde spent a lot of time in the 50s during his day cycle yesterday and the first test at +7 was right at 50. It is possible he's dropped into the 40s and I missed it either due to timing or the margin of error on the meter.

Either way, I'm hoping he stays in the normal range until the insulin arrives and we can go from there.

Morning Will :coffee::coffee::coffee:

My deepest condolences on Max. Fly free little one.

What an awesome start for Clyde. Love those greens. :D Wouldn't that be nice if this was the start of an OTJ trial for Clyde. Paws crossed. You surf well Clyde.

Have a great day today. I hope all goes well. Continued comfort vines.

Good Morning Michelle!
Thank you for the coffee and your support. I need it today.

Being able to start an OTJ trial for Clyde would be wonderful thing right now. This time Clyde has been posting numbers that have a different pattern then the first time through. The first time through once he started getting PS numbers in the green consistently he pretty much stayed there. This time, even with the reductions his AMPS numbers are the only ones that have been routinely in the green but the PMPS have at least been (mostly) in the low blues.

UPS showed up around 7:30pm tonight...way to late for a PM shot. His PMBG was 142 but at +3, after he ate, he dropped on his own down to 78.

I was planning on going back to .1u tomorrow morning, but seeing the +3 I don't know what is going on .

If he is in the green in the morning, do you think I should still give him his shot? If not, since Max isn't around to open the auto feeder, I can try and spread out his meals so he can eat something closer to +9 or later in the day.

I think if he's still green in the morning, I'd go ahead and start the OTJ trial

You can always go back on insulin if you have to, but he's sure looking good for the trial
