Yes, that is what I have been doing. Her snacks are a part of her regular food but she does not get more over the day. I make her regular meals smaller and she gets at least one snack each cycle. If more than one, I take from her regular meal. It's easy to do because she has raw food and I go by weight.
I realized that since I started using calipers she was actually getting too much insulin. I will calculate exactly and correct my SS, but she was more probably on 4.25 until yesterday and 4 yesterday and today. I'm using the paper "scale" but I have not been using it correctly. I guess what counts is consistency and I can keep going from there, but I will correct anyway. Later today, now it's time to take my son to the dentist.

I feel her pain. I think my scale is stuck. Need a new one.

50 @+6. I was not expecting that. I gave her half of her raw rabbit with some gravy from the fancy feast can. She has a lick of pumpkin too, I was baking and she loves it. So I thought she would be much higher. I am home so I will retest her in 30 minutes.

 

49 @ +8. I gave her a teaspoon of Fancy Feast gravy. I think I might reduce again tonight?

Thank you, but I messed up the whole week so she was more than due!
I really really need a good night after the last 2 ones, and I hope that those 3 blues up to +3 are safe enough.

 

You didn't mess anything up. She is just determined to go down in dosing
