Happy St. Patty's Day to Lantus Land!!!!

May we find all our kitties wearing of the Green sometime today!!!

Another pink....hummmm.... doubts, wonders, doubts....40 before DST....screwed up DST....messed up shed...URI infection in the house, ...cross contamination....out of strips for reg. meter...on Relion back-up meter? and I have a super busy 2 weeks coming up... confused_cat

Attie seems none the worse for wear though. In fact he seems more ornery than usual. A few sneezes coming from him, but nothing like Gary... Running and playing this morning and he's even tried to get frisky with me to play with him. I restaged the kibble bowl again and watched him last night taking his engineering calculations and observing MudCats skills...

Gary is supposed to see the vetty again today for a follow-up and hopefully vaccinations. I don't hold out too much hope for the vaccinations...he is still sneezing up a storm. So it doesn't look like the convenia was or is working, other than to prevent a bacterial infection on top of a viral URI. I may call in and postpone the visit until next week.

Re: 3/17 Atlas AMPS 313, +3 300

Hope Atlas clears whatever hurdle he has soon! I've been feeling the same frustrations... great numbers before DST and then totally jacked with Willie's shed. We're just now recovering.

Hope Gary is feeling better soon! Have a great day!

Just got back from the vetty with Gary. Fever is gone, now just the URI to deal with and that is just time. Scheduled for his procedure April 11. I'll need to take him back for a full blood work which hasn't been done yet. Gary had a grand time at the vet today. He was much more relaxed and the techs. worked with him a little bit on his socialization skills. He discovered Cheez-Whiz today! Licking it off the techs fingers while they took his temperature. He got lots of treats while he waited for the vet too. They let him off the table to investigate the exam room and the tech even laid down on the floor with him! He took treats from her hand! Dr. Nappier finally came in and we discussed how Gary was feeling and Gary even decided he wanted to join the conversation and started singing. He was able to get his shots today as the fever had broken so he also got his rabies shot. For his shottie troubles he was rewarded with more Cheez-Whiz during the shot! ;-)

I have to tell you all ...you cannot believe how impressed I am with this vet and all the folks there so far. I see a lot of vet offices in my travels, but I've never seen a group work this hard to make a cat comfortable. They may very well be worth their weight....

glad Gary's fever is doing well and nothing like a cheez whiz distraction!

Now what is up with Atlas? Hope those pinks get banished soon

I Love your vet - was a great experience for you and for Gary. And singing? wow, impressive Gary. Hooray for the power of cheez whiz.

Ok Attie - what are you doing way up there on the pink floor.

Have a great night guys. I am glad that it went well for Gary today. :-D

I think he has a cold too. Cross Contamination

What a lovely vet visit report for Sir Gary!! So nice to see him coming out of his shell! I hope that Attie gets well soon and you see lower numbers in the near future!

Have a good night!

Oh the wonders of Cheese WHiz. What it can do to calm a felines fears. I'm so glad Gary had a good vet visit and hope the cold bug flees your home very quickly.
