Good Morning Everyone,
Stu is full of energy today and is starting out with a great number. He's been out in the weed bed, munching. He played vigorously with his toys and his paper bag. He ate most of his breakfast. He contributed to his litterbox. He played "rough" with DH. And he made me very happy because it is my birthday and I have a cat who is clearly feeling good again--a great present!
This afternoon Stu will begin to prepare the Irish Green Stew for the party tomorrow. Our catmint plant is free of its snowdrift, so maybe he'll put some of its last-summer's leaves into the stew (for flavoring).

It's been a great day. Stu gave me 2 greens, 2 blues and a yellow. DH gave me a wonderful recording of the Beethoven Missa Solemnis. Friends came over and brought a surprise birthday dinner (with a carb-loaded cake, but that's OK. I can eat that!). Our friends brought their bird along (a cockatiel), so Stu was entertained, too. He had a wonderful time outdoors today, exploring parts of "his" garden that had been covered in snow but are now free. We had temperatures in the 50s with lots of sunshine. Thanks to everyone for your good wishes and for being here for us! Stu is looking forward to the party tomorrow and is trying on both his green and his blue suits.
