Skoots-ma-goots wishing a happy birfday to Lana Condo 3/15
Well, today was a lot longer than I thought it would be. My sister picked me up around 1015....we went to the service, and I am soooooooooooooo glad we did. Other than my sister and I and my parents, no other family made it to the service. One of my aunts showed up after, but I am so glad we went. I did not expect to get super emotional as my great aunt was 99, but I did.
My mom's cousins also go to visit their grandparents gravesites, as well as those of my grandparents and my aunt and uncle who died in 2006. We went to Axel's for lunch afterwards and didn't leave until 330. It was so great to see everyone and visit with everyone, it had been a very long time since I had seen a lot of them.
Back to cleaning a lot tonight and most likely Wednesday and will go out for a bit on St. Patty's Day.
Skooter is doing grand and sitting next to me while I type. I almost hate to bring him back in for his routine and scheduling a dental as he is just recovering from his latest ordeal, but I know it needs to get done. His fur is starting to grow back from where they had to shave it. Other than meowing every so often while in the LB, he seems fine. Poo seems to be "settling down" as well as since I changed him from the 1/4 tsp to 1/8 tsp of miralax. Fingers crossed that all stays on track as well.
