3/15 Shasta

UGH! Monday...where did you come from?! Must have to make it through the day.

WCR: Most Ps in place. Appy is slow, but more concerning is her lack of LB action. She only peed once yesterday and no poo. She's normally a 3 pee, 1 poo kind of cat. She did pee this morning after I coaxed her into the room with her LB. After all that my sister just went through with Pixie not eating and not able to eliminate, I'm worried. This sudden shift coincides with adding in the Weruva Paw Lickin' Chicken into her diet. Don't know if they are connected, but I need for her to get over this. I gave her 100mL fluids last night, but there is always the concern with her heart problems & sub-q fluids. I can't seem to win with this little girl. I did get a few snuggles last night with some purrs & we did have a few very short lived play times with her sassy blue snake and reindeer. Oh, and she did jump up on the sink basin via the toilet.

Last night, I talked to my mom and she said that they are all missing Pixie. My sister has kept herself busy, busy to keep from thinking about missing her. Mom said it's very strange not seeing the lump in the covers. Pixie would burrow her way under the nicely made bedsheets so that all you would see was a huge mound and that would be Pixie. Silly girl is missed lots.

5 more days + 1 day of State Solo & Ensemble and then SPRING BREAK. YAY for SHASTA TIME!!! Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

It is nice to see Shasta heading down this Morning. Blues next Shasta. Interesting observation in the correlation between the new fuds,and the LB. Could be I suppose. But I can understand your worry, especially after all that happened with Pixie. I hope it is just a phase with Shasta.

Shasta. Get going! If you know what I mean. A little more poo and pee action is in order. Vines.

The Paw Lickin' Chicken has next to no carbs and little calories. I use it occasionally, almost like a treat at snack time. And sometimes with picky eaters, I just put a dab on top of the good-for-'em stuff. It might be slowing down her usual elimination patterns.

Thanks everyone. Shasta left me lots of goodies in the LB by the time I got home tonight....2 pees and a poop! Her behavior is still quite off in ways that are hard to explain and I hope it's just a small phrase. I do believe her burping is correlated to her tummy/internal troubles. I can't tell if her kidneys/heart/etc. have been compromised. She's napping on her blanket next to me right now...she's spending less time on my lap which is where she always wanted to be as soon as I walked in the door.
