Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty has a good AMPS this morning, our travel-home day. He had a good test, breakfast, shot (I hope it got in), and is patiently waiting on the coffee table. Showers and thunderstorms predicted, but hopefully we'll be further north before they begin.

We had a wonderful time yesterday evening with our old friends. The resaturant was incredibly noisy, but the food was delicious. Later went to a coffee shop for dessert so that we could have a conversation without shouting!

Now to pack and get ready for our trip. Fingers and paws crossed for no carsickness today!

Nice AMPS today Rusty! Great to hear that you had a good time with your friends. How wonderful that you got to spend some time with them. Have a safe trip home and sending no car sickness vines!!

Very nice amps for Rusty - I bet he knows he is going home today. Travel well Rusty - no pukus ok?

LOL on the noisy restaurant. I've had my fair share of those. I am elated that the food was as good as you remembered. Very nice option on the coffee shop afterwards. :-D

Rusty knows he's going home and is getting ready to head back to the lagoon. Nice on the dinner and on the dessert! Have a safe trip.

Hi Again,
We made it home in fog and drizzle for a lot of the way. Rusty got carsick immediately, even though it was more than 3 hours after his breakfast! But then he was fine for the rest of the trip. He chose not to eat anything enroute (as is usual with him), and spent lots of time sitting on top of his carrier looking out the window. Tonight's PMPS may be food influenced in part, since he ate when we got home and it was less than 2 hours before PMPS. But it is also certainly trip stress. Hopefully he'll come down by tomorrow morning.

Now he is napping in his basket and I am about to chillax, too. It was a tough trip. My new glasses are distorting everything. I think I'll have to take them back!

All of our snow is gone. We have major MUD! It's as warm here as it was in the city.

Hope all is well in LL. I'm looking forward to visiting condos tomorrow.

Welcome home! Rusty the kitties are all partying in the Lagoon. Get rested up from your trip so you can join them.

Bummer on the glasses. Are they blended bifocals? Mine always seem to need repositioning. :?

Bummer on the glasses! What a shame. I hope maybe you can get them adjusted? or repositioned as Ann said? I'd hate to think you have to take them back... good luck!

Sorry that the trip was a rough one - glasses wise, and weather wise. And no more snow! I had this awful vision of last year and the bucket brigade. we won't go there right?

Hi again and thanks for visiting and for all the well wishes. Now, barring fur shots, maybe we can get back on track!

The glasses were already adjusted and are better, but not right. I think I chose the wrong shape frame for my vision. I get 90 days to return them if I find I can't wear them. The other 4 pairs I had made up (and put into their old frames with specific instructions to keep the progressive line where it had been) are fine. (I know, 5 pairs of glasses is a lot, but I need them for different activities!!)

You are my last post before my tired eyes fall out on the floor!! I am glad you got home alright!
I have 3 pair of glasses in my bag, 6 on the dining room table , & contacts :lol: :lol: :lol:
Gee what happened to my perfect vision?? 60!
Those progressives are so hard to get used to--I couldnt wear them all the time either--The sides are a pain to look out of! Hope you have what you need before you go back to nyc!

Welcome home! Sounds like it was great fun. Hopefully Rusty will be back in lovely greens tomorrow.
