Howdy everyone. Even after increasing Moe’s dose to 1.0 on 3/13, he still never got out of the pink/red/black ranges. So this morning I’ve increased to 1.5. The schools district I work for is closed this week, so I will be able to monitor closely.

Related: I’m going through AlphaTrak test strips like water, and the cost is mounting. I have one more container of AT strips, then I’m going to change to a human meter. On the FB page, many people recommend the Walmart Relion meter. Any thoughts about that?

Glad to hear that you are getting a human meter since both dosing methods used here were developed using a human meter. Your wallet will indeed appreciate the switch.

427 at +6. This is usually pretty close to Moe’s nadir, so this number is not looking so great.

Good luck with the increase. There are many Relion brands of meters. I used the Confirm/Micro, which is no longer made. Though you can get the exact same thing at ADW, the Arkray Glucocard 01. This is the same manufacturer who made the Confirm, but now their own brand.

I tested Moe at 11.5 and he was at 381 - yay pink!! He snitched some food before shot time, so PMPS was 405. I am somewhat hopeful that his PM shot will continue his downward trend.
