Great nights sleep and coffee in the morning, and I’m ready to roll! Max apparently has decided he is too. These green days he’s had are just wonderful. Max seems to be feeling better this morning from the asthma episode last night. He uses a Flovent inhaler via the Aerokat chamber (has a little mask to fit over his nose and mouth) then he inhales and exhales several times. He uses the Albuterol inhaler the same way for rescue when the episode is particularly bad. I try to avoid that if I can because of his heart (it causes tachycardia), but if he doesn’t recover on his on quickly I do use it. Sometimes he does and sometimes not. Max has been asthmatic since we got him from the shelter when he was 10 months old. He’s been through a lot.
