Happy Monday, LL Land! Sending out thoughts and prayers to Will, Clyde, and Max today. We hope Max has a peaceful and gentle crossing and are very sad for Will and Clyde. Also many vines to Tess, Doodles, Ella, and any others in need.
My LBAC (little brown alarm clock) went off precisely one minute before my electronic one today. I awoke with a little brown face and little white whiskers brushing my face and then was rewarded with gentle, sweet LBG kisses. We are so happy that she is such a happy, healthy girl so full of love after so many years of dealing with FD. Of course, as soon as I got up, she got up and proceeded to wrassle Tobes to the ground in an early morning WWF match.
Weird thing with her BG last night. Mike was going to do a before bed test and she had gone from 224 to 138 in two hours so he gave her some 12% food which usually is good stopping her without bumping her up. I got up and tested at +7 to be sure she had stopped and got a 228...RT, 215. So we aren't sure if the 138 was a bad strip or not as Mike said it filled really well. So....I didn't know this morning if she had come back down, was on the way up, etc but I knew she needed a bit more insulin. Instead of giving her the 0.1u increase I was going to, I gave her 0.05u. Her +2 was a food spike but looks like she has onset now and has some green in mind today.
Thanks for the visit last night, Carl, Serryn, and Rise'. Yes, Serryn, you are right...her stinkeye is one of her most adorable faces. I'm glad to hear all is well, Rise'. Retirement date for me is July 31. Between now and then, it's going to be crazy as I am trying to finish the copper mine project. In fact, I'm working today.
Have a great day! Think
