The Hospice vet came by and assessed Belle, she thinks he is too weak and is ready to travel along
He crossed the rainbow bridge around 12 noon. He crossed peacefully.

This morning, the went to every room in the house and lay in each room for a bit, with his sister.
When the Hospice vet came, he suddenly got up and walked to the door, and we went outside for a little bit, he sat there and enjoyed the sun for about 20 minutes.
came back and walk his sister back to their room (the garage)

Belle is sure a sweet mellow cat with pride, as he looks like a Lion. He will never be forgotten, and always be loved. May he be off on new adventures, wherever those may be.

I've learned to not ask “why isn’t he here with us,” but instead smile and proudly say, “we are so lucky that he was here!”

I think he did all that (visited all rooms, and sunshine outdoor) becos he knew what is coming
(i once spoke with an animal communicator, and she told me if you have someone coming for assist crossing, make sure you tell your pet ahead of time, pets also have last things they wanted to do)
so i did told Belle a lady is coming to help him cross over

I'm so sorry for the loss of Belle. I know he crawled into your heart and made a home there. He will always be there, you know, so even though you can't hold or pet him anymore, you can still talk to him, and he will hear you. I am glad he had some time to say his goodbyes to his home and his loved ones. It does sound like he was ready to cross. You gave him the greatest gift - freedom from pain and suffering.

Bailey seem to lay around Belle's collar a lot, or areas that Belle use to sleep and lay around.

The other day (second day), she wants to go outside, so i carried her outside, she started looking around as if she was looking for something... i believe she might think Belle is outside and she was looking for him.

I am just seeing this today, I am so very sorry, I've not been able to visit the board as much as I would like recently.

I'm so sorry for your loss, to let them go is the hardest decision we have to make for our little ones. I hope that Bailey is coping with the loss, I know it can be hard for those pets that are left behind especially when they are close buddies.
