Re: 3/16 Autumn amps-318

She figures she can hang out in the 300 range with Cedric, since he looks like Maxwell...
I was on the phone with my vet's office and Lindsay, my vet tech/pet sitter and was telling her about what you said about adjusting her does to .40 units...she said wow!

Re: 3/16 Autumn amps-318

Thought I'd pop in today and visit my Lantus cousins! laptop_smiley Hi There! Pink isn't too horrible a color; I hope she comes down for you today to the blue sky & green pastures!!!

Re: 3/16 Autumn amps-318

Awww .. Maybe if I type in green she'll get into the St Patties Day spirit and practice wearing her colors for tomorrow.

Re: 3/16 Autumn amps-318

   Right now with Miss Autumn all things are possible, she has certainly changed the rules on me again. ohmygod_smile

Although with taking her back up to her 'magic' dose, I assume she will be wearing her green again shortly..but you know what they say about assuming it makes an a$$ out of you and me..

This is when you need the patience pants.

In all reality there no such thing as *a* 'magic' dose, you just have to keep going up until they break through again. Too often you have to go all the way back up.

With Chip I had to go up even higher the third time after messing up a reduction.

But so far Autumn seems to like her *one* 'magic' dose. Hopefully it will work again this time.

Poor Mel! So many changes with Autumn, it's like trying to figure out a new sugarcat. :o

Hang in there girlie! :YMHUG:

Well she has been high and perfectly flat all day, hopefully it is because tomorrow she will decide to get back with the program and go back to swimming in the blue lagoon and rolling in the green grass again...Heck I would just like to see her back laying in the sunny yellows. <sigh> But I also just saw we have storms coming later tonight or tomorrow so perhaps part of her numbers today are from the changing barometric pressures as well.

Figures 70s on Thursday and Friday, cold and windy today, and snow and rain on Sunday....Ahhhh spring on the Great Plains, where you can use the snow blower and the lawn mower on the same day.

Or use the lawn mower to blow the snow?

But I was just gonna say after the pink surf, get ready for the tumble.

My mower is electric so I probably shouldn't try that - but it does sound easier to mulch it than shovel ;). Of course, its easiest yet for me to go out with my shovel as the neighbor with the tractor shovel attachment drives by and hope he takes pity on me.

We've been really lucky this year with the weather - so Mel, please keep your storm on the plains. My daffodils are maybe a week from blooming and my magnoiia should be breaking out shortly...I'd hate to see a hard freeze screw that up.

Autumn certainly doesn't seem to want to get with the program today........I think you need to put her on restriction if she won't follow the house rules :).

I don't think I'd want to try it either. Your plan sounds a lot better. ;-)

Yeah I'm kinda hoping though she waits until tomorrow to do it. lol
Looks like you should be safe on that one.

Hey Momma, thanks for overnighting the insulin. I got it yesterday without a hitch. And already used it today.

I had one dose left in the old pen. Don't know what made me think I could make it to next week.

But thanks for the next day shipping, that was a real life saver. Chip is already surfing green on the new juice.

Glad I could help out, I know that sinking feeling when you aren't sure if the new batch is going to make it there before what you have runs out. First time I ordered Musette's lev from Canada that happened. I didn't think about it being business days rather than calendar days and didn't order soon enough. Thank God mom was on Lev by then and I was able to get some of her leftovers, which had enough left to keep Musette going until her new stuff came in.

Chip thanks your dearly departed mom for his green St. Patties surf!

That was my problem, no tail ends to fall back on in a pinch.
