3/14 Shasta

WCR: Most Ps in place. Appy is ok, but I don't think she feels great today. I did get lots of snuggles last night and this morning...side note: her hiney is pretty stinky and didn't make for a pleasant wake-up!!!! She has only peed once today (it's almost +9). I've been running errands so far today. They weren't supposed to take so long. I ran to Target to get cat litter and a trip that should have taken 20 minutes ended up taking almost 2 hours! Ran into 2 former students and they over charged me for the litter. ugh! I'm home now, doing more laundry and needing to start my spaghetti and sewing. Oh yeah, and I need to eat breffis/lunch.

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers for my sister. I will be sure to pass along all the sweet messages. I'm planning on calling my mom later on to check up on my sister.

One more week and then spring break.

Thanks, ladies. I have been relatively busy all day and haven't spent much time snuggling Shasta, but my concern for her has been growing. She has only peed once today (typical is 3 per day) and no poop today after last night's half n' half (runny/solid). She seems a little "down", too. I gave her 100mL sub-q fluids around +4 tonight, but she just seems more blah. She perked up at about +2 when I added some Paw Lickin' Chicken to her dinner. In fact, she was so excited that she hollered at me while I mixed it up and then came flying up onto the couch. Since then, very subdued. It is bedtime now and I'm hoping that she surprises me overnight with some LB action.
