Yesterday, a green, blue, green, blue, green type of day.

3/14 Recap:

I think the kitties know the difference between me getting up just for a +9 test and getting up at +9 for rowing (and a test). Lots of hanging around and making friendly. I do give them each a small bit of FD chicken as we go out the door. Rowing was cancelled, but not until we got down there and saw the waves crashing on the beach. Neko was very happy to see us when we got back. She was trolling for cuddles and making her cute little "I want attention" noises, followed by very loud purring. :-D

Today is a lousy weather day. Wind is from the wrong direction for rowing (creates whitecaps) and now the rain has picked up. Perfect day to make a cake for my DB's birthday. We'll be going over to the island tomorrow for the occasion, and Neko may or not come with, depending on her numbers. I may take a smidge off tonight and tomorrow so she doesn't have to travel with us.

Yo Neko, thanks for reminding me about the full WORM MOON tomorrow night. We have to have the party somewhere where there are worms. How about your place? Your beans will be out, so we won't disturb them with our singing and dancing and digging for worms to bait the fishing hooks with. Come over to my place tonight and bring some of the kitties so that we can plan. I'm making cimmamum cookies.

Hi Wendy! You must be disappointed to not row, it sure must have made up for it to get Neko loves and happy purring when you came back :-D . Good luck with the cake making, I hope you see sunshine peek through later today! Happy Caturday :-D

Another day cruisin' the blues. :-D As soon as I got the butter out of the fridge to start making the cake, Neko was right over the help. :lol: Butter Sunday came a day early this week. She's been a real land shark today - pushed Theo out of his bowl twice this morning. But she's feeling good, I just heard her sisal ball go for a roll.

@Dyana - AMPS was nice but onset was late so still waiting to head down. I've made this chocolate cake before and I decorate it with gumdrop shamrocks cause his birthday is the 17th. It is tasty. :cool:

@Rusty - Tons of worms here and probably at Elsa's place too. I gots a river nearby where we can go fishin'. And the ocean is close too. ~Neko

@Rachel - More disappointed to get up and dressed, go down to row, but now row instead of sleeping. :lol: No sunshine scheduled until Monday, cats are restless. You know that saying, what do you call two days of rain followed by sunshine? - the weekend. :roll:

Nice blues for Neko today. How sweet she was so happy to see you come back this morning. Sorry you went all the way there and then found out you couldn't row. Happy early birthday to your DB.

Happy birthday to your DB! Sorry that your rowing trip was cancelled. At least Neko was happy about it - extra cuddle time is always appreciated! :-D

I'm glad Neko is feeling so good today!!!
It's interesting they can tell the difference about your getting up at +9.
Cats do have such observant eyes.
