WOO HOO on yesterday. I was so elated to see that 102 for a PS number - it meant that Mannie had surfed blue the night before - always a joy to realize. GO MANNIE! It was a DGS morning, so I elected to try and maintain that low blue, rather than let Mannie head down to the low greens, as it can be difficult to manage both of them at the same time. I fed a 5/8% LC mix, and it did keep him in the 120 range. YAY!!! I think I may have sacrificed a trip to the green lagoon, but was happy with the evenness of the morning cycle. You did well Mannie - Thanks dude for being such a good kitty! cat_pet_icon

I wonder how many carbs there are in fishies.... Mannie isn't called "the PAW" for nuthin'! :lol:

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We have a nanner update! the lone nanner remains alone... forlorn... outcast... :lol: Mannie seems to have designated it his special nanner, and keeps it away from the others, and shares it only with DGS. ;-) Too darn funny! What is too fun is that DGS seems to know that that nanner is the special one. It is the one he grabs. Oddly enough it always ends up back in newly designated spot. :shock: Of course the bean ever sees any of this happen. :roll: I so need a web/video cam..... The kitty choir, aka Elsa, has taken a short hiatus... bummer! OR the bean is just too sleepy and simply does not hear Miss Elsa's petite calm and soothing meow. She really needs to turn up the volume of get a mega-phone. :lol: :lol: AND!: great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND auto feeder which Elsa still thinks has her name on it. Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am off DGS duty until nest week, Wednesday. My DD will have some of those days off as she is on vacation, but wants to bring DGS up to play in the pool. Phew! I wonder what it would be like to be DGS-less for a week. :o :o :shock: :shock: I am off to have breakfast with my middle son this AM, and later into Seattle to have coffee with a friend. WOO HOO - fun times!

Hey everybody! I LUBS NYC!!! We got one more day! I am hoping we can go the the library and pretend to be those lions again,. That was so fun last time! maybe we can get one of those boat thingies and cruise the lake in central park!! ooooo - and a carriage ride! Rusty?? Can we? Please??? Ok everybody - let's pretend he said yes. OFF TO THE CITY!! ~ Mannie ~~ and more hot dogs is a given!

What a wonderful video of "the best buds"! And great pool shots,too. That lone nanner must be the one that is special because it is shared with Nicholas. Mannie, you are one smart and thoughtful kitty!

Michelle, that video is hilarious on so many levels. Mannie grabbing food with his paw, Nicholas rubbing his icky hands on Mannie's beautiful fur, dumping food on said beautiful fur. I wonder how long it takes Mannie to bathe himself after an encounter like that. :lol:

Morning Michelle and yes on the ~O) ~O) . I've already had two mini btd's! :-D The video is so darn cute, and I love the way Nicholas decorates Mannie's coat! Hysterical with Mannie fishin out the Goldfish or chickens! And we were able to see his Manxy side there when he walked away for water. :-D Maggie says she likes your stubby tail, Mannie! :lol: Cute pics of DGS at the pool! Yeah, sometimes you have to slow it down when gone, and you work the food and numbers so well. Have a nice day, Michelle. what are you two doing today?

Hi Barb - Thanks - it is so typical of those two guys. Sometimes too Nicholas will hand the food to Mannie, and he will take it from is fingers - and he, Mannie, is so gentle! And I know on the bathing - Mannie doesn't seem to mind. Mannie too will lick my hand when I pet him. Cute and fun!

Hi Devon - thanks on the pics. That cannon as fun - he had such fun watching the water shoot at things. It's a little big for him, so I have to hold him there, but he's got the shooting part down. :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - oh yes on the ~O) darn DST! Things are finally getting better today.... I thought DGS's placing of the food on Mannie was way to cute. When we test he will bring the small towel I use on Mannie's rear ear (LOL - thanks Anne for catching that typo!) after the poke and place it in position so that it is ready for Mannie. too cute, and powerful is what he remembers from observing. and thanks on the food and the numbers etc... i do try.

That video is crazy cute! I can't decide which is funnier...Mannie reaching across the tray for more Goldfish, or Nicholas eating Goldfish off Mannie's back. What a duo!!!

That has got to be the most hilarious video on LL! Nicholas must like a little hair along with his goldfish and hopefully, as Linda mentioned, you will not see any hairball in the near future. I love how Mannie reaches for the food with his paw. Simon does the same thing. It is just so special to see the two of them getting along so well.

Hi Georgia -many thanks! It was fun to watch that yesterday - they get along so well. Nicholas will often come up to Mannie and just sit there - face to face, just barely an inch between them, and they just watch each other, until he begins to pet - then the purrs abound. LOL, and yes on the hairball! :lol: :lol: I love the paw reach - it is great isn't it? nice to read that Simon does that too. Excellent!

ok, that was a hoot. mj posted it on fb too! just too funny. i loved mannie's paw swiping the goldfish closer . . . and yes, nicholas putting goldfish on mannie's back and then changing his mind and eating them instead. precious!

I agree with Georgia....that is the BEST video! Mike and I were rolling with laughter at how Mannie swipes at the crackers and Nicholas put them on him and then ate them off :lol: :lol: DGS is so gentle with Mannie!!

While we were watching it, Tobey came over and kept whacking at Mannie...who is sooooooo handsome.

Time for more blue Mannie!
